    2. What is your favorite holiday cookie/dessert? I don't understand this question? How can I have just one favorite??

    3. Favorite childhood holiday memory? Christmas Eve we used to have a BIG holiday dinner with us and my extended family and neighbors. Santa would show up (he drove a 67 Ford truck), and listen to all the kids. Then my mom would send him home with treats. Later we would go to the White Gift Service at Church, see the Navitity story and leave nonparishable food items for the food bank.

    4. Any New Year's resolutions yet? If so (and you feel like sharing), what are they? Not yet, hopefully to not be so anxious or stressed about not being pregnant and hopefully become pregnant.

  • 1. Rockin around the Christmas Tree

    2. Russian Tea cakes

    3. Santa would visit our house every year when I was young (it was a neighbor from across the street).

    4. Not sure yet.

  • 1. O Holy NIght

    2. My mom's oatmeal cookies (they're wonderful all year 'round!)

    3. Falling asleep on the couch with the Christmas lights on and a fire in the wood burning stove.

  • 1. What is your favorite holiday song? It depends on my mood, but Jingle Bell Rock and the original version of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer are always great to listen to.

    2. What is your favorite holiday cookie/dessert? I love good creamy fudge. My dad used to make the best fudge and I hope to duplicate it someday.

    3. Favorite childhood holiday memory? Visiting my extended family on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

    4. Any New Year's resolutions yet? If so (and you feel like sharing), what are they? Right now my main goal for the new year is to organize our spare bedroom (this should have been done when we moved into our place in 2008). If we don't get this room together, we will have no where to put LO's crib. Of course, I will also have the traditional lose weight resolution, but I can't begin working on this until after LO is here.

  • 1. What is your favorite holiday song? The First Noel and Hark the Herald Angels Sing. After working retail for 5 yrs I HATE pop Christmas songs even ones I used to like.

    2. What is your favorite holiday cookie/dessert? Gingerbread cookies that I love to frost. My grandma always made peppernuts that have a brown sugar/molasses flavor and those are a favorite, too. Gingerbread cake with whipped cream is also excellent.

    4. Any New Year's resolutions yet? If so (and you feel like sharing), what are they? No

  • 1. What is your favorite holiday song? Anything Charlie Brown related

    2. What is your favorite holiday cookie/dessert? Everything! Stick out tongue. Actually, I have two-one is Dh's famous mexican chocolate chunk & pb cookies and candy cane cookies. the candy cane cookies are a PITA to make so we when we do make them, they are a treat!

    3. Favorite childhood holiday memory? When we (my sister, my brother and I) were little, I was always "nominated" to wake up mom and dad on Christmas morning. We were always up early and we wanted to see the gifts from Santa (even though later we found out it was my dad's writing). I just loved it. Then we would have some pastries, while we passed out and my mom and dad made dinner. It was glorious!

    4. Any New Year's resolutions yet? If so (and you feel like sharing), what are they? What are those? I could list the typical resolutions but I am going to continue with my vow of being surrounded by positive people and get rid of the negativity. I have been very fortunate to have such positive people in my life and I think that is what has helped me get through the difficult times this year.
