Favorite banana bread recipe
Does anyone have a good banana recipe?
I've never made it before, but I know it's fairly simple and I have some super, super ripe bananas at home that I don't want to go to waste.. since I'm a weirdo & like to eat my bananas borderline green.

Re: Favorite banana bread recipe
I just made 3 banana breads using this recipe. It looks good.. I haven't tried it yet lol. I'll have DH try it when he gets home and let you know.
Banana Bread Recipe
Method
No need for a mixer for this recipe. Preheat the oven to 350?F (175?C). With a wooden spoon, mix butter into the mashed bananas in a large mixing bowl. Mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in. Add the flour last, mix. Pour mixture into a buttered 4x8 inch loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour. Cool on a rack. Remove from pan and slice to serve.
