And this is the best fake Friday of them all. We've got a half day, then a Christmas lunch, then I'm off until the 3rd.
Today is bake table day at work, so I brought in peppermint marshmallows (omg yum) and toffee millionaires.
How is everyone today? How much time does everyone have off?

Today is Sean's bday party, no bucks game, but he did agree to a small gathering. We're going to Dave and Buster's for happy hour. As 99% of our friends our cops and teachers and that works perfectly.
I'm off work until the 3rd of January, I'm kinda looking forward to it, but we'll see. I'm really looking forward to being able finish my program in May and choose where I go.
I'm watching all my favorite old cartoon movies today, and in case people aren't around tomorrow or Sat. Merry Christmas or Happy Christmas if you prefer.
Yay for Fake Fridays! I am so flipping excited and can NOT wait to get out of here today.
I'm tired today, the boys decided that it was play time at 2:00 a.m., and it took me an hour and 1/2 to get them back to sleep. Now, I am looking forward to plowing through some work today and then heading home at 3:30.

I'm hoping to sneak out of work by 3:00 or so today. It's quiet around here and I'm just ready to have some time off. After today I'll be off until the 3rd. I'm pretty pumped. We're heading up to my grandma's house either tonight or tomorrow. Originally the plan was tomorrow early afternoon, but we're supposed to get some snow tonight and tomorrow so we're thinking about going up early since our plans for tonight fell through. Merry Christmas everyone!

We're flying out in the morning for my grandma's funeral. I'll be back on Tuesday.
Yay for Fake Friday! I'm working until about 3 today, and then I'm planning to go buy one last gift for Manuel. Hopefully I can just run in and out of there. We may go to Manuel's co-worker's Christmas party tonight, but Manuel isn't feeling great, and the way it's been raining I'm not sure I want to go. Other than that, I'll be off work until January 3rd. I'm really looking forward to some time off. Have a great day ladies!

Today the Christmas hullabaloo begins... rehearsal tonight, midnight mass tomorrow night followed by a potluck, Christmas mass the next morning, lunch at the ILs', dinner at my parents', and mass again the next morning. Phew.

I am off today! I am at my parents' until tomorrow night. I ran errands with my mom this morning and ran three miles at her gym. I plan on baking cookies this afternoon. Ed is coming up this evening and we will do Christmas presents tomorrow morning, then we are going to my aunt's tomorrow night and then headed home, where his family will already be waiting, and we will spend Christmas day with them.
I am off until the third and am SO excited!

BFP 12/8/11--Little Girl E Born 8/22/12
Today was pretty light at work so I left early so I could go get my police clearance for another part time hospital job. Our director runs all 3 local hospitals, including the 2 I already work at, and they have said I have this position but still have to go through the whole interview process. This job will be helping fill a mat leave until the end of March. All 3 jobs are just temporary part time but at least a foot in the door.
I don't have any time off for the holidays which is sad but things can always be worse. I really feel for my patients who are stuck in the hospital and their families. I think on Christmas Day I'm going to take some muffins up to the ICU waiting room. Mark and I will spend our time together tomorrow night after church. I have to get to bed soon so I can get up at 5:30am go to the gym in the morning!
I just want to say my thoughts are with all of you dealing with a loss for the holidays. Please don't forget that we are all here for you when you need a place to vent and share. Hopefully the new year will bring nothing but huge amounts of happiness.
I finally got back home after a few days with my step dad's family. It was nice to see his parents, but I forgot his family smokes like chimneys. It's not so great with a 5 week pregnancy and already sensitive stomach.
DH just told me that he's working more days than he originally thought. I'm thankful his company is doing well, but I wish he'd learn to stand up for himself and take time for his family once in a while.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you if we don't happen to catch up before then. I'm hoping 2011 brings nothing but amazing things to all of us.
