March 2009 Weddings

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Job update

Well, sort of.

I called the owner yesterday to ask him my questions and accept the job, but got his voicemail. So I left him a message and haven't heard back. I called again this afternoon, and same thing. I'm starting to wonder if he's going to take back his offer already.

In other news, DH should have the shower all tiled today! Then we just have to put the grout in tomorrow!

*Update: I talked to my boss who is the head rep tonight. Apparently the owner went on a last minute fishing trip and will be back tonight. He doesn't get cell service where he is (practically Canada). So hopefully I'll get to talk to him tomorrow. The good news is that the head rep thinks this is a good move for me and answered a bunch of my questions. He said he doesn't think I have anything to lose, and that I'll be doing both jobs for awhile so even if this position doesn't work out I can always go back to what I'm doing now. I feel a lot better after our chat. Now I just need to get some more money out of the owner!
