How much Renters Insurance?
How much coverage do you have under your renters insurance policy? the "calculators" provided by the websites seem awfully low..

I pay around $15 a month through Geico. Renter's insurance is going to be considerably less then homeowner's insurance since you're only covering your posessions, not the house also.
DH and I didn't have renter's insurance when we first started renting but a friend of mine told me about how the house she was renting caught fire while they were at work one day (it started in the kitchen and they traced it back to some bad wiring). They basically had to start over again with nothing. It's so important to have!
