Thanks to you guys my tree finally got decorated last night.
I had grand designs of setting up the dining room and the tablescape, but that never came to fruition. So, hopefully, by Christmas Day I'll have another surge of energy enough to clean off my table and not eat on the couch.
Thankfully, we did some pre-baby decorating the day I went into labor, so the outside of the house looks good. We were supposed to put wreaths on all the windows, but a selfish baby ruined those plans. But the GIGANTIC wreath we managed to hang is more than enough Christmas for this house to handle.
Here's my gigantic, awesome, FINALLY decorated tree.

These were Pete's mom's tradition. She would give these out to us every Christmas. Their whole tree is practically covered with these through the years. They're handmade by an awesome artist, Gladys Boalt. She has hundreds of different characters throughout history, literature, fables... I fell in love with the tradition and I've tried to keep it going now that his mom is gone. Just a few, I don't want to mud up the post with ornaments.

Here's our family room.
I decorated this the day after Thanksgiving. This is the main room of our house, our tree is in the living room... So it's felt like Christmas since Novemeber because I was ignoring the naked tree on the other side of the house. But seeing that it is the main room of our house it's contantly messy. I left all the toys and clutter out so you could admire my junk.
