My 18 year old nephew in the Navy is flying home this afternoon to surprise his 17 year old fiance (double ugh....)
I'm the co-conspirator that has to pick him up at the airport at 5pm
We're expecting 10 inches of snow by then.
I should just drive to the airport now and read a book.
Re: Ugh.....
Well, that's great he's flying home...
but do you really think his flight will actually make it in??
We're expecting about 20" through tomorrow AM. Yeaaaah. ugh.

Whatever you decide to do, PLEASE drive safely. Will Greg go with you? How far is the airport from you? I would say to leave wayyy early and read a book at the airport. I wouldn't want you out driving in this mess when it gets worse this evening. Shucks, I don't want u driving from the airport in it either.
Oh boy....

The airport is about 25 miles away.
I'll feel terrible if his flight is cancelled, and then I'm "on call" for whenever the hell Continental decides to reschedule for land the damn plane.
The worst part is going to be getting out of my development. Due to the builder going bankrupt, our roads haven't been dedicated to the town. This basically translates to....we have to wait for a landscaper to get here to plow. During the bad storms last year, this took almost 4.5 days.....ugh. Lets hope they learned their lesson.
A TON of flights are already canceled coming into Philly, but for some reason the airport website isn't showing Continental flights. So bizarre.
