I was told to figure out what attachments I wanted to go with it, any ones you love or could live with out?

I don't personally have one, but my parents have the shredder attachment and they get a lot of use out of it.

I don't have any special attachments to go with mine, but I would highly recommend a second bowl. I only have one and it would have been so helpful to have another one when I was baking all my Christmas cookies the other day.

I have the attachment that has the shredder, slicer, etc but I can never get it to work.

I have a grinder attachment, but haven't used it yet. But, I do have a shield that goes over the bowl which is nice when adding dry ingredients. I agree that having a second bowl would be nice for huge baking marathons. Part of me wants to get the ice cream maker attachment, but the part of me that wants to lose weight has vetoed that idea (for now)

Second bowl! MUST if you are a big baker...also, ICE CREAM MAKER! I cannot tell you how often I use this...it's in our freezer in the basement all the time whenever we get the urge to make ice cream. I've thought about the pasta attachment often but think for the amount of time I'd actually make fresh pasta it might be a waste.

I want a 2nd bowl, but haven't bought one yet.

the one thing I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE for it is a blade with the silicone fins on it to scrape the bowl. I got one in a SS exchange this year and have used it 7 or 8 times already. I really, really love it.

we registered for all the attachments (well DH did ) and we have not used any of them. I do use the splatter guard though and bought another paddle with a scrapper on it..LOVE that

YES! The scraper blade thing is awesome!!! I use mine all of the time, I love it!!!

And I agree with the second bowl. I have the pasta attachment that I've never used ad we have the meat grinder attachment that DH used a lot for making chili after hunting, but he ended up burning out the motor on our old mixer so we don't use it anymore. The ice cream attachment is awesome, but the bowl takes up a lot of room in the freezer

beater blade and a second bowl. i have the pasta attachment and i have never used it. I think i have the slicer too from my dads mixer and i dont use that only because i have a food processer that has a slicer.

Darn...I never thought about getting a 2nd bowl....I could have put it on my Christmas list htis year. Oh well!!!
