I know I'm so lucky and grateful for so many things....but this week has been a giant snowball.
We moved into our house...the floors had to be re-done and the office is still plywood. Our sleeper sofa doesn't fit through the office door so its in the garage. Our box spring didn't fit up the stairs so we had to pay for a new split box spring. We had to stay at my mom's house for 3 nights until the new box springs could be delivered yesterday. On Friday our fridge totally fried and we have to buy a new one. On Saturday night I was driving in the "straight" lane and the girl in the designated turn lane changed her mind and took off the front drivers side corner of my car. So I'm driving a rental and without my car for a month (because of the holiday). I'm just hoping my insurance doesn't go up. I have to go get the report today but at the scene the police were great and said it was her fault. And don't get me wrong I'm SO thankful that we are all ok but that was just the icing on the cake of a really rough week.
I could just use some vibes that things slow down and get a little easier now. I had a great 2010 till this mess!
Thanks ladies!!!!

Oh my that's not a snowball that's an avalanche!! Hopefully you are done encountering all the problems!!
Have you tried every possible way to get the furniture into the house? Standing it up and then angling it through the door? I've seen many a furniture mover do some amazing things.

Yea our movers couldn't even get it into the study. The problem is not the door to the house its that when they added on the study a long time ago the door they put on wasn't regulation size its like this uber skinny door that wouldn't pass inspection if they tried to do it today. The guy who is doing work on the basement said he would try.
Thank you ladies
you make my heart smile!
Oh Laurie! I am sorry to hear about all your difficulties happening at once. Hopefully things will improve in the new year.
Your insurance shouldn't be affected if the police report states that it's the other lady's fault. Good luck with everything!
