We got to spend time with family and that is always nice.

We had a blessed Christmas.
Christmas eve we went and saw FIL. Xander couldn't see him on the floor he was on, so we are on month 4 from the last time he saw his Pappy. My FIL looks so much better and it was great to sit with him and have a chat. We then went and had a seafood dinner with my parents, sister, BIL, niece and grandparents.
Christmas was great. Xander's eyes and smile were so big when he saw the tree with the presents under it. I wish I had a picture of his face. He did great opening his gifts in the morning here. We did however just leave half of them unwrapped so he could play right away. MIL and BIL came over to see Xander open gifts as well and we had breakfast. Then they went down to see FIL and we got ready for round 2 of Christmas with my family. Xander was over opening gifts at that point, so Andrew and I opened his gifts.

I think this was the best Christmas I had ever had! Josh and I spent so much time together alone...and I realised how much more frequently we need that! He's not really into Christmas, but he sucked it up and we went riding to look at Christmas lights on Christmas Eve and he took me out to dinner and a movie!
For Christmas we just went to see my family (his family is out of town) and that was nice, except my mum and brother have the flu... Then we went to our best friend's house to do Christmas with him.
Overall, it was just very nice and relaxing and I was so glad to have the time with DH...
Christmas eve was nice, I got nice and drunk and Kevin's brother's house. Then went to my cousins house where we did vodka shots whenever the doorbell rang. Needless to say I passed out on the way home.
Christmas was spent with my dad's family at his sisters house. it was very nice, and even included a tissue paper ball fight which was started by my Oma! hehe. She's so cute!
And now I have the stomach flu. good thing I'm off work tmrw. I'm actually going to lunch with Mandy. as long as I'm not still sick
