i love snow, just a little depressed about it at the moment.
my sister, maeven, BIL and step nephew were literally on the plane getting ready to take off when maeven threw up everywhere. they got off the plane and obviously the plane couldn't wait so there luggage is here but they aren't.
we don't know if she's sick or she was just too excited from the whole day and then the trip. she didn't nap at all and was probably over stimulated.
all further flights have been cancelled due to the impending blizzard

As far as the snow...bring it on!! I would LOVE to have off work tomorrow.

OMG we have 7 inches and counting. FML. We were supposed to go to MIL's for brunch this morning, so I'm sort of happy we got out of that. Of course she's all upset b/c when will we reschedule, well I don't care, b/c come Tuesday we're heading up to MD for the bowl game Wednesday. And we have things to do next weekend, so DH better man up and not alter our plans.
They are so not able to handle more than a dusting around here. VDOT claims to have 50 trucks out in the area, ummm, there are 7 cities here, you need more than 50 trucks.
DH will probably go back out in another hour and shovel the driveway for the 2nd time.

I saw on FB that they closed daycare Dana so you don't have to worry about carting Xander now! I still stress about driving to work in the snow though

We are under blizzard warnings and have 4 or 5 inches here. The weather reports cannot decide how much we are going to get so they are predicting between 8-24 inches. I have to work tomorrow and DH has off unless he gets called in as part of the state's emergency management.

I love snow, but of course hasn't seen any of this so-called storm yet. I can take a vaca day tomorrow if I don't want to go in and they don't close the building, but I'll probably try to get in if the building doesn't close. I'm seeing reports that we'll only get 10 inches or something -- overnight and in the morning -- and I doubt that's enough to close the building
I'd love to spend a few hours tomorrow snowshoeing or xc skiing!
I'm actually surprised that they let them off the plane once they had already boarded. I hope they can get another flight soon.
