As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. I poked in because I'm nosy.
My mom has her MLS! She's the director of a small city library in Indiana. Before that she was the head of the A/V department at the county library in my hometown (basically she went from a big fish in a medium sized pond to the biggest fish in a small pond).
A guy I went to high school with is also finishing up his MLS currently. Anyway, it's a useful degree if you want to be a librarian.

I've been thinking about this for awhile but have been dragging my feet, because you're right, it's really only useful if you want to be a librarian ;-). Plus, I'd have to take the GREs again because mine expired. Blech.
