daycare is closed until 9 and work is closed until 11. Looks like Jacob's getting his morning nap here, and so am I!

    Not me. I'm currently at work and am extremely bitter about it. The weather idiots do this to me all the time. They get me all excited and then we get nothing. I didn't even have to scrape off my car when I left for work. We got maybe 1/2 inch. Totally lame.

    Sixth Anniversary
    I'm at work too.  I'd rather be home but am sorta glad I'm not.  DH and his friend rebuilt our snowblower and a piece broke after DH got done with the driveway.  So he's fixing that and he'll be pisssy all day.  I came in in jeans because it was snowing and cold and I didn't feel like ironing.  Turns out almost everyone here felt the same way.  We got about 8-inches and are getting another 2-4 today.  We are still under a blizzard warning till 6PM because it is still snowing and the wind is gusting anywhere between 35 and 50 MPH.

    I WISH! I friggin live in the Rocky Mountains for goodness sake, and there is NOTHING. The only snow is higher up--like 4000ft up and were talking like 10 ft. At least the pack is good because that is what feeds our water shed this spring. What I'd give for just an inch or 2...

    I wish!  We have snow on the ground but that is all from about 2 weeks ago.  no fresh snow here.  ugh I am exhausted and really wish I could have slept in today.  I didn't sleep well at all this weekend.  wasn't feeling good for the first part of the weekend, then I slept in too much yesterday and couldn't fall asleep last night.  Plus DH wasn't feeling well last night so he was in and out of bed.  Ugh I wish I could have called in today!  And I think on top of being tired, I'm still not feeling 100% better from whatever I was fighting off earlier this weekend.

    For once we are not somehow included in the crazy snowfall. Sorry to you ladies who had plans ruined because of it though. I have today off and am spending it with a girlfriend exchanging our gifts, I also have tomorrow off with zero plans yay.

    We would of been if we were home, but we are at the IL's in Buffalo, where there is snow on the ground, but no new snow!

    Philly got 12 inches I heard and my neighbors posted on facebook we got more then them, a few daycare's their kids go to were closed, so I figured we got more then Philly because they never close.  so I don't know how much we got, just going on what I heard =)

    We were snowed in yesterday, we got 13 inches, which is a record for down here.  They can't handle snow down here, so while the roads were decent today, they still need more plowing.

    Philly got around a foot, but in North Wales we only had 7 inches. 

    I went to work today and it was a good thing too. My assistant manager had worked 24 hours straight and needed to be relieved when I arrived. Granted it took me a another 3 hours to finally get him out the door and on his way home.

    What could be worse than be trapped in with 25" of snow?  Being trapped with 25" of snow having a sick momma, sick dada and sick Jack :(
