This is my second day in a row and I am getting booored. Couldn't even get out of the garage to attempt to go to work today, they never close ever.
Thankfully we braved the grocery store yesterday before the snow started or we would be starved and bored lol.
Re: anyone else snowed in?
Not totally snowed in, per se. We got about 8" of snow here (laugh if you will, but it's NC - I am a Jersey girl myself, so we had our driveway shoveled and salted before it had even stopped!) and most things shut down. They actually plowed our neighborhood yesterday, which is a Christmas miracle! So we were able to get out to the grocery store. H took my car back out for another errand and decided to fill up my gas tank for me. Mercifully, my AWD kept him from skidding all over, but people were turning off the plowed highway into the gas station and skidding sideways across the ice. He was grateful he was the one there in case someone skidded into a pump. Ugh. The roads are mess this morning after everything refroze last night, but I think we'll be ok. Quicked response I've ever seen in NC, especially with this much snow.
How much did y'all end up with in the end? I saw on our news last night they were predicting up to 18"!

yea we're in the 18-20" range. The road has been plowed yet I still can't see much pavement at all on the street outside. I see a few cars here and there driving but I have a sports car and it's low to the ground so it's too scary for me to drive it in weather like this.
8" is a lot for NC! Its usually the other drivers that scare me more then anything, glad your H got home safe!
Do we need to send some Minnesota snow plows out there to help you guys again?
In all fairness... we got 18 inches or so in the last storm, and it slowed things down, even here. Curl up with some good books and make the most of it! I think we're supposed to get another foot or snow for New Year's. eek. We've already got 4 feet of it.

4 FEET!!!! OMG I could not deal, I hate snow.

I'll take some of your snow. We haven't gotten a single inch yet, which is odd for living in Colorado...
Yes! I am totally snowed in and it sucks! I watched a full season of Cake Boss yesterday and Sex in the City 2 from Netflix (what an awful movie!) and finished up the Thank You Cards.
My husband is snowed in at his mom's house so it's really really boring on my own again. Hopefully things get back to normal a bit tomorrow.
Big, big like the moon...
