Oh yeah!

We went to dinner at our favorite bar tonight and turned in some winning scratchers (that my mom put in our stockings for Christmas!). With that money we bought a few more scratchers and I ended up winning $80! Woohoo!

Re: Oh yeah!

  • DH got some scratch off tickets from my parents last year at Christmas and won $100 on one.  I love winning on lottery tickets, but I never win anything over $20. I see a pampering day in someone's future :-)
  • Lucky!  I never win that much on scratch-offs!
    Anniversary
  • the ones I got DH are off non-winners.  I can't find the ones from my stocking.  Maybe I'm a millionaire...

fingers crossed you find them and you're a big winner! Congrats Sarah! I never win.
  • Congrats on being a winner!  I *never* win on scratch offs.  :(    Hope you do something fun with your winnings!!!
  • That's awesome!

And the title of your post made me hear Pauly D's voice in my head LOL :)

  • I find it so odd that so many people say they never win on scratchers! I don't play them often but almost every time I do I win at least another ticket.
  • awesome!!  I've never won more than $10 on a scratch ticket :(
  • Niiiiiice!!!  What are you going to spend it on?

I won $20 the other day and I thought that was awesome.  $80 pays my whole electric bill!!!

I have no idea! The responsible part of me wants to just put it in savings, the other part of me wants to blow it on some new clothes or something fun.

My vote is for clothes and shoes.  :)  Screw being responsible!  It's free money- you can't save free money.  And technically it was a gift and you should use it to "gift" something to yourself.
