As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. I can't say that I would sing, or wouldn't because I know that I can't carry a tune in a bucket.
But for me if I had a beautiful voice I can't say I guess it really depends on the situation.
However one of my friends did sing solo at her wedding. She has a fabulous voice, she's in a band so we all knew she would sing and she got up at the reception and sang to her new husband.

I had a million people ask me if I was going to sing at our wedding. I thought about it for like half a second (also toyed with singing at the reception), but realized the following:
1) I would probably laugh, cry, or forget the words
2) I would be convinced that people thought I was full of myself for wanting to sing (like I was in love with my own voice or something)
3) I would embarrass Clint because people would be staring at him checking out his reaction (he had a hard enough time walking the grandmas and mothers in because people were looking at him)
One of Clint's parents' friends sang to each other at their wedding...a song that she wrote..."Curtis and Karen, lovin' and sharin.'" That is goofy as hell.

My cousin sang to her husband at their wedding, instead of saying vows, because she said every time she started to read her vows, she would choke up. But when she sang them, I guess maybe she was able to be "professional" about it?
She has a beautiful singing voice and everyone thought it was great. When it was his turn, her husband turned to the church and said, I don't know if I can top that, but I'll try. And he sings almost as well as she does!
It was a little hokey, but then they ARE hokey so it was cool. LOL
This is why I wouldn't do it, but I might have considered singing a song to H at the rehearsal dinner if I were more comfortable singing in front of people. We didn't actually have anyone sing at our wedding.
