Anyone have a snowblower they want to sell?

My poor husband-- he's out there, with our one shovel, trying to clear the driveway, which is a pretty steep hill. And I don't want even to LOOK at what the plows have deposited at the end of our driveway.

MH won't let me help-- he got mad at me for doing the porch and the walkway the other day-- because of my bad neck/back.

So I thought I'd see if anyone here had a snowblower they don't use any more (maybe you upgraded? know someone who did?), because I'd trust one of you before I'd trust a stranger on Craigslist...

Re: Anyone have a snowblower they want to sell?

  • I don't, but I'm sorry, that sucks!  And I can understand being apprehensive about buying one from craigslist - I'd be super worried it'd crap out half way through the winter.  If not this year, it's definitely worth buying one at some point - maybe they go on sale after the winter is over?

  • we bought ours from craigslist.  DH bought it in the middle of a snowstorm last year.  So he let the guy know that he wanted to use it before we purchased it so we were sure it worked in deep snow.

  • I don't have a snowblower, but you can borrow my husband. He comes with his own shovel Smile

  • MH made a very good point when he asked, "If we buy a snowblower today, how the hell are we going to pick it up? Even if it fit in your Forester, we can't get out of the driveway at the moment." It's kind of a Catch-22.

And Meg, send your husband over only if he's done something very, very bad. I wouldn't wish this on anyone decent!
