Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

landlord question....
our tenant just told us today that he will be leaving end of January so DH and I want to start putting an ad on craigslist and maybe a sign outside stating apartment for rent. Does anyone have a copy or a link where I can find appliactions to have the people fill out. We have not had to do this yet since we bought this house. I really hope it doesn't take us long to find new tenants. How long did it take you guys?

Ours has been vacant for about a month, we have been showing it but haven't found the ones...a few have been interested but they are iffy as far as their income and credit are concerned. I am fully aware that most people that are renting have crappy credit and that doesn't bother me but when I can see that the income wouldn't cover their monthly bills just relating to the house(not including their personal debt) that obviously is a red flag.....Craigslist is great but 10 minutes after you post the listing you are on page two...there is that much out there. I think I have an application on this PC. We have now handed it over to a realtor as well for a commission if they are the ones that end up renting it. (we still are personally showing it as well)....it also gets the listing up on riliving.com, and they can also run the credit for a fee. I can also give you our realtor info.

I agree withUgh wicked sorry for the duplicate posts!! I can't figure out how to delete them because the delete button is not working. This is one of the reasons I hate coming on here now!!
Anyway I was going to say that I agree with the pp about Craigslist - You can put it on there, but it will get buried so fast. People will have to search by a specific title to find yours.... Just a thought.
