Need a carrot cake recipe
DH's birthday is in 2 weeks (yay!) and he requested a homemade carrot cake (not out of a box).
Does anyone have a great recipe to recommend? If they have a great cream cheese frosting to recommend, I will take that too.

I did the Martha Stewart Carrot Cake recipe for cupcakes and was not a fan. I tried another one from Tasty Kitchen for my BFF's bday and made cupcakes that were DELICIOUS! Link here and link to my blog review here

Now that I think of it, it's a matter of taste (isn't everything?) the Martha Stewart recipe was a bit too dry and greasy for my taste, the Tasty kitchen recipe was moist and spicy and delicious mmmm....
