Any unusual gifts this year?
Anyone get a weird/oddball gift this Christmas? There's always that strange gift that everyone has no idea what to do with, lol. I was lucky to get a lot of nice stuff from my parents and grandparents but oh boy did DH blow it this year! Nothing weird, just not very much thought went into my gifts this year. On the 23rd he asked me what I want, and after refraining from punching him I told him to just let me go shopping after Christmas and that will be fine. Christmas Eve he says he has gifts for me, Epic Mickey (already got an hour before from my cousin who had my name) and a food processor- yup I own one already! So we gave the Wii game to my sister and the processor to my mom. Its not the price or amount of gifts, just put some kind of effort into picking out my gift dude!

josh usually needs help (a wishlist and/or a link to a specific items i like) but he would at least make a shopping gift card of some kind for me to open on christmas.

My in-laws are a trip! They gave us no less than 5 Tyler Perry movies (Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Madea Goes To Jail, I Can Do Bad All By Myself, etc.). ????
And my aunt-in-law gave me the ugliest old-lady sweater ever. It's like totally a square with huge sleeves and looks like a poncho. It's not maternity? I am perplexed by it.
I do appreciate them thinking of us, of course. But I really appreciate the fact that we opened these gifts in RI and not in front of them in TX.
