I got a lot of great stuff. Sadly enough, I think my favorite is my steam mop. My parents gave me a bunch of new clothes but I have yet to try them on. DH bought me a beautiful ring. I also got a couple of GC's, perfume, a purse, down comforter, portable grill and some other stuff I already can't remember. DH got a new Ipod so I'll inherit his old one. All and all it was a great Christmas and the running around wasn't bad. We decided to "stop by" a friends Christmas night. They got Phase 10 in their stocking and 6 of us decided to play. Wow - that's a long game. We didn't get home until almost 5am. So I slept in yesterday and spent the rest of the day cleaning up the Christmas tornado.
My weird - MIL gave me some shirts and PJ's. They are all a men's large. I'm not even 5' tall and weigh less than 120lbs.
I forgot to add my two wonderful gifts from the universe. No snow!!! They were calling for us to get a bunch but it missed us. I hope those of you who weren't so fortunate are enjoying your snow and hopefully got the day off. And the Ravens are in the playoffs after a win yesterday!!!!
Re: Spill it ladies!
Really Jenni? Men's Large PJ's? Wow. And Phase 10... I love that game! I like the new Phase 10 Masters game..it's a great twist!!
Our Christmas was quiet. Nice, but quiet. Brian had to work Christmas Eve and the day after Christmas, and he's been under the weather so we played it safe and stuck around this year. My kiddo's came for Christmas Day and we opened gifts and had a nice dinner.
Brian and I decided long ago that we weren't going to exchange gifts this year because we're saving to go to Hawaii in April, but of course we bought little things for each other. I got lots of new baking tools that I've been wanting for a while.

Yay!!
Our Christmas was great but very, very busy. I am exhausted today. DH ended up getting a whole bunch of Ravens stuff to replace all his Steelers crap, now we just need to figure out what to do with the Steelers stuff. I am so happy to not have to see that "terrible towel" during games now!!
I think one of the favorite things I got was a digital picture frame. I also got a lot of kitchen stuff I wanted, scrapbooking stuff, some clothes, and some other random stuff. Plus GC's and money which is always nice. DH got me a new laptop for school that I love.
Me, DH, my brother, his g/f, and my cousins all go the weirdest clothes from my aunt and uncle. My mom said my aunt called her several months ago saying she hit a big sale and need to know all of our sizes. My mom knew it wasn't going to be good. All of said clothes are now in a pile to be donated.

Weird gift: MIL and SIL both got Caroline Christmas outfits that arrived at 3:00 PM on Christmas day. When the eff is she supposed to wear them? I'm hoping that I know a baby size 3-6 months next December so that I can give them to someone.
I got a new Kate Spade bag and a great pair of heels from DH in addition to a bunch of smaller gifts. We also got restaurant gifts cards which gives us an excuse to go out to dinner.
I can't believe you didn't have snow in Baltimore because we got tons here. My office is actually closed today, but I work at home on Mondays anyway so it's not really a bonus day for me.
What kind of Steelers stuff? DH would LOVE to take it off of your hands!! His "man cave" is all Steeler'd out...fatheads on the wall and everything!
I got an espresso maker from H along with the Rachel Ray lazy spoon set I wanted, and some espresso for the espresso maker. I got a bunch of smaller things also.
My parents got us this kick ass toaster oven. It bakes, toasts, broils, roasts, etc etc. I don't know how excited DH is about it, but I'm stoked.
My IL's got me an iPod speaker I wanted and a couple of cookbooks I wanted.
The weirdest thing from this Christmas was that DH got me this glass straw I wanted (yes, I saw then on Jaye's blog
) and my mom got me replacement straws for my plastic Starbucks cups. Haha. I've never gotten so many straws for Christmas. LOL.
Maybe the most awesome was that I won $80 on scratchers due to winning scratchers my parents got us.
We agreed not to exchange gifts with anyone this year since the baby is coming so soon. However DH's aunt and uncle did get us a gift cert to Williams Sonoma and an insulated wine tote (they know us well...)
As much as this blizzard is crazy and was insane all night, another great present was that my office closed today. They haven't closed once in 20 years!
Sounds like you all had a wonderful Christmas!!
Hubby got me the Nook color, new shoes and a custom made frame for one of our wedding pics that I actually love. With the wedding in October we decided to go kind of low key this year.
IL's got me GC's which are always nice. My mom got me a new Starbucks coffee mug w/ a GC inside - very happy about that!!
...and I have to agree w/ the gift of no snow!!! So glad we didn't get slammed like last year.

No weird presents. We do Amazon.com Wish Lists now (started this year and it worked out great!) so you almost know what you'll get ahead of time.
My highlights:
-Cupcake maker from Cody
-Pressure Cooker from my parents (I didn't ask for it but I LOVE IT!!!!)
-Canning Kit and a Canning Book
-$50 Spa Gift Certificate and a Bottle of Win from on of my clients
-Viva Pinata from my brother and SIL so I can now play the XBox occasionally since killing aliens isn't really my thing.
All in all it was a great Christmas! My parents bought Cody the Cities and Knights expansion pack for Settlers of Catan and it looks really fun! I can't wait to get back to Phoenix and play a bit (Marci, this is a hint!).
My Christmas was great. DH had to work Christmas so I didn't get to spend much time with him that day, but we had Christmas Eve together.
We had agreed not to buy each other any gifts since we bought a joint early gift, but DH couldn't help himself and got me a gift anyway. I now am the owner of a Nook! I'm excited because I really didn't like all the space my books take up, not to mention there won't be a place for them once we start a family. Plus it will be great for the 13 hr flight to Tokyo. Other than that I pretty much got gift cards and $. I've already decided to use it to get a new lens for my camera and another camera accessory.
No weird gifts to report. Usually there's at least one, but they opted to give us a gift card this year thankfully :-)

Weirdest gift (that I LOVE) are my new feet athletic shoes!!! I've wanted them but wouldn't dream of spending the money on them. DH knew that and surprised me with a pair. Although I do have to return them for a small size, I'm very excited to go hiking with them!
Other than that, DH got me a WiFi Blu Ray, shirts, and gift cards. I made out like a bandit. I told him thank you and he responded, well you did threathen me. Which was sort-of, ok... totally true but there's a story and history behind that.
Lol, I'd love to hear the story behind that!
We weren't supposed to exchange gifts either, but H has a Carhartt coat that is over 10 years old (faded, ripped at the seams) that he will not part with. So I got him a new one - same color, style, and everything. He likes the new coat, but says, "Now I have 2!" and claims that he will still keep the ratty old one. What!? He later said he might give it to his dad for working outside though.
And H got me a Soda Stream!! He doesn't usually do gifts so this was a surprise, and I wouldn't have even known about the SS if it weren't for some of you ladies on her mentioning wanting one! I love it! The only disappointment was that I thought you could carbonate anything, but it says to only carbonate plain water and then add stuff to the carbonated water. I'm sure you could carbonate other things, but I worry about it dirtying or clogging up the nozzle thingy.
We had an interesting Christmas. Christmas Eve we did dinner at my mom's house, which was lovely, but her BF got called into work and had to leave which totally threw my mom off and she acted weird the rest of the evening.
Christmas morning was stressful, only because it always stresses DH out and that in turn stresses me out. We always make cinnamon rolls Christmas morning, but they were taking WAY longer than usual and we had people waiting on us. They were getting impatient and calling constantly but we couldn't just leave because we had stuff in the oven. By the time we got over to my mom's to do presents we all had our feathers in a ruffle. Plus we had to spend the morning with my mom's BF's son, who is a total weirdo psycho-killer kind of guy. Awkward.
DH and I bought all new kitchen appliances so that was our big gift to each other. He also got me a couple things so I had stuff to unwrap. He got me Mario Kart (so excited! I love that game!) and controllers, plus one other gift that hasn't come in yet so it will be waiting for me when I get back into town.
I also got a shitton of gift cards (like $125 in itunes, $175 in kindle, plus Home Depot), and some other stuff that I had asked for like a new bathrobe, an apron, gloves, etc.
Weird- my crazy stepgrandma sent me a fruitcake. But sent it to my mom's address. With my mom's last name (and my first name). She also sent one to my mom. Weirdo.
