Mom's finally waking up and they were able to remove the breathing tube on Christmas day but she's still really lethargic. Things are looking up though...at least she's made it through surgery and is awake and stroke free.
Before she went in, she kept telling people that she'd be home for Christmas....LAUGH! I doubt she'll be home before I have to leave on the 31st.
Thanks again for everyone's thoughts and prayers and thanks to Kim for keeping you all updated!
Re: Christmas Update
I was thinking about you and I was getting worried about you and your mom since I did not see an update before Christmas.
I am sooo glad she is recovering and is taking it easy.
Is she able to talk now that the tube is out of her?
Thinking of you both and that 2011 will be a much healthier year.
I'm so glad to hear she is starting to recover. Also, it's good to hear she was staying positive before the surgery! I'm sure that will help with her continue to get better.
Thanks for the update. I hope you are able to spend some quality time with Q and your husband too.
ah ok.
