Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

New Weight Watcher program...

Has anyone tried it yet? I signed up for the online version and am going to start full steam ahead tomorrow. I am nervous about it though since I am use to the old version! I am hoping I can stay motivated with out going to the meetings...we shall see!

  • All fruits and veggies are 0 and the formula to figure out points have changed it is based on fat, fiber, carbs and protein...no more calories.

  • I didn't try it, because I planned to re-start after the holidays, but I was turned off by the whole thing.  I didn't like that I had to relearn points for everything and that I couldn't easily figure out what points for things were just by looking at the nutritional info.  It felt like a big change just so WW could make more money - new books, materials, calculators etc.  It just kind of irked me, so I'm just going to count calories instead.

  • I am on it.  I haven't jumped in full force yet, but plan on doing so. To me, it makes sense as it considers carbs, protein, and fiber.  You get more points all around.  The good thing is that it has encouraged me to eat more fruit.  I am still trying to relearn all the points, but I am trying to have the mindset that I have never done WW before.  Good luck!
