Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I know I should know this but how do I PM someone and how do they know it's there, without posting it's there. I know bad nestie......

Underneath someone's reply you'll see a Contact+. Click on that and it opens up a new window for you to write your message in.
As far as the notification goes, unfortunately the Nest is not set up to send an alert about messages. There really is no way to know unless you check your PMs regularly, or if the person who sent you one posts about it on the board.
To reply to a PM that you receive, hit "Quick Reply"
