I know this has been discussed before on here, but ....
I'm looking for ways to save money and I'm thinking of making my own cleaning supplies and possibly products such as shampoo, body wash, etc (not even sure if it's practical to make the beauty supplies). Who here makes their own cleaning/beauty products? What are they and would you mind sharing the recipes?
Re: DIY Household supplies?
I have never been over to Green Living. I went to Money Matters thinking they would have something, but I did not see anything posted recently. I'll mosey on over to GL and check it out! Thanks!
I use vinegar/water and baking soda to clean my microwave and oven. I would rather not use chemical cleaners in places I cook food.
I have heard of people using it to clean counters and such as well.
THIS is one of my favorite lists of cleaning solutions. It has a shopping list and most items can be found in the grocery store. I had a hard time finding washing soda around here and found it at Hannaford's.
I love the soft scrub!
