What are your plans for bringing in the New Year? Either sitting at home just dh and I or going to one of my sister's to celebrate with them and maybe my cousin and his girlfriend (a total of 6-7 of us).
Are you happy with them? Completely content I will probably fall asleep around 11 anyway LOL.
Describe the best New Years Even you have ever celebrated. One year my girlfriend and her FI at the time organized a group for one of the ever so popular hall parties. It turned out to be a great time, great decorations, great dj, lots of dancing and the centerpieces 'exploded' into a small fireworkds type display at midnight, it was totally cool.

What are your plans for bringing in the New Year? Same deal as last year. ILs are renting out a restaurant/bar for 100 of our closest friends. All they are asking for is a $25 donation to Susan G. Komen. It's pretty generous of them.

Describe the best New Years Even you have ever celebrated.Probably last year since we got to celebrate with so many of our friends and it was free for everyone.

I'm at work today, trying to close cases before the end of the year. Spent 11 hours here yesterday. I HATE missing Jacob's bedtime
It's so hard to choose which NYEs are the best. I have no affinity toward NYE, so I make every effort to get out of the madness, which has had some great results: 2 NYEs spent driving across the country with my friends while we were in college (one of which was spent skinnydipping in a natural hot springs on the Rio Grande), 2 NYEs spent at the bottom of the Grand Canyon with Thom while we were dating, and the 2 most recent NYEs in a house in the woods, playing RockBand, with my college friends.
We're spending this NYE weekend with them, too -- and adding 2 babies to the group! Jacob will get to meet his "cousins," who are 2 and 6 months behind him. Can't wait!
I should be on my way to work, or actually at work, but I'm watching old school family feud, my hair is still wet, and I don't know what I"m wearing to work yet. I'm pretty sure I still have part of the stomach flu or something because I've been dizzy and feeling like ***.

What are your plans for bringing in the New Year? I am will celebrating at my friend Lauren's house. There will be 3 couples there, possible 4. It should be fun. We are all old and have no lives anymore

Describe the best New Years Even you have ever celebrated. hmmm Probably my first one with Kevin. That was the only NYE we went "out" for. It was fun. We saw my favorite band, it snowed like crazy, our transportation was a school bus. Fun times

What are your plans for bringing in the New Year?
DH and I are going to stay at home, just the 2 of us. He'll play on the internet, I'll do a puzzle, we'll watch a movie in the hot tub, watch the ball drop, have some champagne, then go to bed.
I am doing the Polar Plunge again this year on New Year's Day so a quiet night before is a good thing.
Are you happy with them? Yes I am. Don't have to worry about a thing.
Describe the best New Years Even you have ever celebrated.
Several years ago we were at one of our GMs house partying it up hard core. DH's best man came in looking for me frantic because DH was plowing through a tray of jello shots. I got DH to step away from the jello shots. A friend fell asleep by the firepit and melted the bottom of his shoes. DH's best man thought the fire could be bigger and threw a cup of gasoline he has syphoned (sp?) out of the lawnmower on the fire. He also thought it would be fun to set off the fireworks and nearly burned down the house because he set them off too close to the house. The spot where the fireworks were set off was so charred that grass still will not grow there, probably 6 or 7 years later.
james and i are going out to dinner with a group of friends. i think there is like 11 of us but then we are cutting out early because we want to be with z to wish her a happy 1st new years (even though she'll be sleeping:P)
absolutely happy with my plans. it's exactly what i wanted to do. grateful that i am given the ability to do so.
not a huge new year's person. for resolution purposes, i sort of feel like you have the ability to change what you want about yourself whenever you want. my favorite new year's however was the 2 week millenium cruise spent in the panama canal right at midnight when the US gave control of the canal back to Panama. it was historic and amazing.

I'm here. Just a retirement party to go to at 1 and a little work upstairs for today.
What are your plans for bringing in the New Year? We are going to IL's house for new years. They throw a party every year and after the debacle that was last year, we are going some place where there aren't going to be any crazy drunks that get into fist fights over operating systems on phones... yeah that was what the guys got into a fist fight about last year.
Are you happy with them? Well its better than the alternative. Though I'm not really thrilled since right now I'm not on the best of terms with MIL...
Describe the best New Years Even you have ever celebrated. I honestly don't know of any that have been truly great. Isn't that sad?
I'm here today and tomorrow.
We're going to friends of friends house for a party. It's their anniversary, so they always host a party. Should be fun. We don't really hang out with them a lot, so we won't know most of the other people there. We're not as excited as we could be, but I think we'll still wind up having fun.

I'll be popping on and off today as I'm home with Dunc today... I am not looking forward to going back to work next Monday.
Our plans for NYE is a night watching movies and chinese food at home. Knowing me I'll probably be in bed before midnight as Dunc still gets up around 5:30-6am.
Best New Years Eve was my first with Jim. We went up to Denver stayed the night, watched fireworks, did the big hotel NYE party they had the Fray playing before they hit it big--kept remembering that these guys were awesome.
i started rebelling at like week 36 when the dr gave me the ok :P

What are your plans for bringing in the New Year? Nothing. We were going to be going to DH's cousin's as we do every year. But she canceled on Monday since 75% of the people invited were not coming.
Are you happy with them? Yes and no. I will enjoy not having to drive to Buffalo and stay on a not as comfortable bed at the IL's, but I didn't get to see his extended family at xmas, so it's always nice to see them on NYE. I haven't been feeling well this week or over the weekend, so the relaxation will be good for me.
Describe the best New Years Even you have ever celebrated. ooo that is a tough one. I think one of the more memorable ones was one of the ones at DH's cousin's party. I was not feeling well so we went home early and celebrated at midnight with a toast of airborne. I did have an awsome one my first year of college, coming home and having a fun party with some HS friends. Unfortunatley DH and I missed celebrating our first two NYE's together because of traveling. I guess NYE has never been crazy partying for us.

Describe the best New Years Even you have ever celebrated. Last year. Drew's BFF and family was in town and we went up to the Dells and the spur of the moment. We went to dinner at a really nice restaurant, bowled, then did the countdown. Us ladies went back to the hotel room to sleep and the guys went to the casino.

12/10 - Unmedicated cycle due to RE not doing treatments in December = BFN
1/11 - 100mg Clomid + trigger + IUI + Estradiol + Progesterone = BFN
2/11 - Same sh!t, different month = IUI cancelled due to no response = BFN
IVF #1 - Start stims (Follistim) 5/10, add in Ganirelix 5/14
ER 5/21 - 13 retrieved, 7 mature, 5 fertilized; ET 5/26 - transferred one perfect 1AA blast. 3 snowbabies.

Wow those are some really good plans and even better best new years stories.
For us the years that we didn't go crazy trying to figure out were often the best, I know when we were younger (even as a kid) we had much more fun.
Are you happy with them? Yup, we normally don't go out and I'm fine with that. Maybe one year we will have a NYE party.

I just have to work 3 days and then I have a 3 day weekend!
NYE- lets see we go up to the IL's with some friends and eat lots of crab, set off tons of fireworks while freezing your bum off outside at a bon fire, and then blowing up ginger bread houses!
Happy with our plans, yes we do the same thing every year!
