2011 Goals and/or Resolutions?

Hey Ladies, wondering if anyone has come up with 2011 Goals and/or Resolutions yet?

I had mine figured out weeks ago . . .

1. Lose 25lbs. Putting my total at 90lbs.

2. Save $5000K more for a "new to us" vehicle.

3. Pay off Student Loan by August.

4. Take a cooking course and a meditation course.

Re: 2011 Goals and/or Resolutions?

  • 1. Continue to work out - there was a lull after the wedding but I started again in November - want to keep it up just to be healthy and feel good.  This includes taking more classes like yoga and zumba as well.

    2. Cook more - DH does all the cooking and I want to learn and help out.

    3.  Keep up the savings each pay period - we'll also need a new car in the next year or two and we bought a house that is closing in February, plus we're going on a cruise in the summer!

    4. Continue to update all my teaching notes and activities for school so they are fresh and none getting boring or too repetitive. Also want to take an AQ course this year to keep myself learning.

  • 1. Get pg and have a baby : )

    2. Be very intentional in paying off student loans. The plan is to sell our second car to pay off our smallest one.

    3. Have a full time classroom again, even if only for a couple of months before #1 happens.

  • 1. Lose my baby weight before my brothers wedding or

    2. Get pregnant before my brother's wedding so I have an excuse to be fat

    3. Pay off my car loan

    4. Buy a mini van

  • 1. Do not conceive and/or birth a child. I love my kids and more may be in our future, but I have been pregnant for at least some of every year for the past 4 years!

    2. Get a part-time job and stick to a budget.

    3. Head back to the gym and actually USE the membership I'm paying for every month.

    4. As a SAHM: Have the TV on way less during the day (including when kids are napping), and get out of the house way more often. 

  • 1. Do 30 day yoga challenge

    2. Eat less fast food - I got a slow cooker and Im jazzed about it

    3. Pay off my visa - We want to be debt free asides from our mortgage by 2012

    4. Plant a Garden

    5. Finish Couch to 5k

    6. Enjoy Life and say yes to new experiences!

  • 1. Eat a heathier, low-glycemic diet (although this goal started a month ago. My skin is clearer already). I have PCOS and I know that to treat it I should be eating low-gycemically, but processed carbs are so yummy. I was very proud of myself- I gave myself one free day on Christmas day, and while it continued only slightly into Boxing Day, I got back on track pretty quickly.

    2. FIND A JOB related to my newly-completed degree, and quickly!

    3. When I have said job, get into debt-repayment mode. Pay off the monstrous truck payment of my husband's that's been a burden on our back since he got the frigging truck over four years ago.

    4. We would love to go on vacation in September or October. I'm hesitant to make this a goal, because it depends so heavily on our jobs (which I don't even have yet), but we have had a stressful few years and we'll be looking to TTC #2 about a year from now so it'd be really nice to have one family vacation before our lives get turned upside down with another little one :)

  • 1. I want to get back on the fitness bandwagon. I did really well after I had my DD and want to start running again.

    2. Pay of our LOC and start saving on a down payment on a bigger home for us.

    3. Be in the kitchen more. DH is the cook of the family and would like to cook more.

    4. Look for a job that I can finally call my career.
