So, I get $200 every 2 yrs to buy a new phone from my firm. I've had my blackberry for 3 yrs or so. For a while, the firm wasn't paying for iphone service plans since they have a blackberry enterprise server. But, now, apparently, they will pay for the iphone data plan.
Stick w/ the blackberry or go w/the Iphone? For the most part, I use my phone for work emails and viewing work related docs. The former is great on the blackberry, the latter sucks.

I am such a bberry person. Especially for typing emails and such. I like having a physical keyboard. For viewing docs, it is not the greatest, but I can get by to at least read quickly, until I can get back to read more thoroughly. I guess it just depends what is needed more emails or viewing docs and fun apps.
I know a few people that like the droid phones as a compromise btwn the bberry and the iphone. However because your firm has a BES, your emails may come a lot faster with a bberry.
You can open pdfs (and other formats too) on the iphone. I don't use mine for work e-mail, but Brett does, and he views documents on there all the time.
I agree with moo on the screen/keyboard. I know a lot of people say they would hate a touchscreen, but you get used to it really quickly.
The nerve!

I have a blackberry for work, Mr. Mod has an iphone. although I hate parts of Mr. Mod's iphone, on the whole it is a better machine than the blackberry. I have never had a webpage refuse to load because it is too large, opening documents does look better because the zoom in feature is better (although if you are reading a bunch of pleadings, I still think you might find it annoying.)
If you can get an iPhone for the $200 or for <$100 extra of your own money, I'd do it. If not, I'd stick with the blackberry.
