Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Scary moment last night while getting my BOGO pizza
While I was getting into my car, I had a man approach me.
Scared.the.living.crap out of me.
I got in my car, put the pizza on the passenger seat, went to close my door and there was a man standing there.
He then squated down so I could'nt close my door. He had a duffle bag with him and began to open it. He told me he was a homeless vet and wanted/needed money. I told him I didnt have any money. He then asked me for a ride to the Homeless Shelter. I told him if he didnt get away from me I pushing the phone button the sterling wheel and calling the cops.
He insisted all he wanted was money and I had to tell him three times to move or I was hitting the panic button on my car and calling the cops.
He finally got up and walked away.
I was so on edge the rest of the night and I told B I am never going anywhere in the dark again.

scary! Good for you for remaining calm...I'm not sure what I would have done in that situation.
My sister, who will go running through the neighborhood in the dark, came home one evening and said to my parents that she's going to (try) and not go shopping in the dark any more if she can help it. There's just too many creeps out there.
DH pretty much won't let me go places when it's dark out - especially with R...and even more so now that I'm pregnant.
That is so scary Angi!! I'm glad nothing happened.
I probably wouldn't leave my house anymore if that had happened to me.
