Re: I just got an Iphone--what are you favorite apps?

  • Utility-type apps:
    Facebook
    Groupon
    Fandango (local movie listings)
    NY Times
    IMDb
TV Guide (we don't have cable, so I don't have a guide on my TV)
    Urbanspoon (local restaurants)
    Tip Calculator
    Amazon
    eBay
Shazam (five free song IDs/month with the free version)

Games (some are free and the others I've never paid more than $1.99 for)
    Bookworm
    Scrabble
    Angry Birds
    Monopoly
    Battleship
    Pictureka
    Sneezies
    Whirly Word
    Sudoku

Electronic Arts was having a sale last week on most of its games - 99 cents! Search for that and see what comes up for iPad.

Also, I have several recipe apps - Whole Foods, SparkRecipes, Big Oven - that are OK.

  • I have Verizon, so I am not lucky enough to be able to have an iPhone, but if I did, I would definitely use Words with Friends all the time!
    Photobucket
    Megan & Chris
  • Free ones, I use All recipes, snapfish, and shutterfly a good bit.

Unsure of price: I also like red laser (it compares prices and has reviews by scanning the bar code) and appbox pro (it has a fertility calendar type thing, not that you need it now since you are already expecting).  DH also go Battery Doctor which is supposed to keep your battery healthier and we use it every night...

A friend suggested Big Oven and I think I'm going to get it...
