Educate me: Cleaning with vinegar
How do I clean a stand up shower with vinegar? Do you use the same white distilled vinegar used in the kitchen? If it's important, I do not have a removable shower head so I have to use a cup to rinse sides of shower and door.
Re: Educate me: Cleaning with vinegar
To clean a shower stall, I put standard distilled white vinegar into a spray bottle and spritz it all over the shower stall. I then wet down a clean towel with hot water and wipe down the stall towards the drain.
I find that cleaning this way is most effective when the shower stall is already steamy from recent use. White vinegar is a natural deodorizer and removes basic soap scum.
