Any NY resolutions for yourself?
Re: New Year's eve POLL
What are your plans for NYE? Going to my brother's house for the night - it will be all the siblings and their SO. Should be fun!
Making any food, if so- what? we are making guacamole and sausage balls.
Have any traditions? not that i can think of - just to kiss at midnight!
Any NY resolutions for yourself? to find a new job where I am appreciated and recognized for what I do and know. What are your plans for NYE? We are leaving tomorrow to go to Jacksonville, FL for our alma mater bowl game! So we will be there. We are planning on going to eat somewhere nice that night and then I am not sure.
Making any food, if so- what? No since we will be travelling.
Have any traditions? Normally we eat black eye peas and cabbage on New Years Day.
Any NY resolutions for yourself? I have not really thought about it honestly. I have never stuck with any of them that I have set.
I'm not great at keeping resoulutions but I want to lose more weight. I think I am going back on my PCOS diet as that helped me some. Hopefully between that, taking metformin, and excersise I will be able to lose. I am just going to take my time with losing the weight and not have a specific goal. I think not having a specific goal will be better for me.
I am also going to keep my eyes open for a new job.
What are your plans for NYE? Co-hosting a party at my parent's house... we do it every year. There will be about 10 of us and we are ordering Chinese for dinner, watching football, and playing Catch Phrase. We'll of ourse watch the ball drop, then go home and go to bed. :-)
Making any food, if so- what? Yep, but I haven't decided yet. I was going to make an appetizer and a dessert. Thinking about spinach artichoke dip and maybe some pecan pie bars, but I'm not sure yet.
Have any traditions? See above
Any NY resolutions for yourself? Not really... 2011 is going to be such a huge year for DH and I (since James is due in March), that we're just going to take it as it comes.
1. bumming around the house/watch movies/hang out with the husband
2. WOW i didnt even think about a "special" NYE/NYD meal.... we always went all out on NYD lunch..... guess i need to talk to DH about it hah
3. no traditions with DH.
4. i dont really "do" NY resolutions.... but i'm sure i could work harder at/on some things in my life!
