Our friends have been taking their kids to a hotel every year so they can swim and do fun things together as a family, and we have decided to join them this year. I figure it's a win-win...T loves to swim and we'll get to spend time with him and our friends.
We are taking the girls home after I get out of wk and then going to Petoskey for the weekend.
H and I are headed to the other side of the state Friday morning. We'll hang out with my family until about 5. Then we'll go out to eat with my sister, and 3 cousins. After dinner off to a NYE Party/Going Away Party for my cousin who leaves for the military sometime in January. K and my 2 nieces are staying the night at my mom's house, so we can stay out late. H has volunteered to be DD, but I doubt I'll really end up drinking that much.

Brian and I had a few big fights over what we were going to do for NYE when we were first together, so we finally decided just to go to a Griffins game and call it good. Once we had kids, we didn't have access to a sitter for that night, so we just turned it into a family night.
WOP - that is exactally what I have wanted to do for years - was rent some a cabin and just play games, drink, and relax.
We're having some friends over.

We're going to the Green Well for dinner too! What time are you going to be there? We have an early dinner reservation at 5:30. We HAVE to have a drink together!!
We have an 8:00 reservation with my brother and SIL. Make sure you get dessert so that our schedules cross :-). If all goes as planned, we'll be at the place across the street before dinner if you get done early. Do you know what you're going to get yet? I heard the potroast is tdf. I can't remember what I had the first time I was there. It was good whatever it was. I am excited for the "warm" weather too.
I've never been there. I'll keep the potroast in mind. That sounds delish. What's the place across the street? I still don't have a dress. I wish I knew someone I could borrow one from. This whole night is pretty ho-hum to me this year. I think I'd rather stay home to be honest.
Yes, the only reason we're going out is becz brother and SIL are in town and we don't want to completely bore them to death. Personally, I'm interested in the drinking part :-). I am stalking that modcloth blog for dress ideas for an upcoming wedding. I found it on project rungay and didn't realize just how much unique stuff they have to choose from. it is not that badly priced either.
I did find a couple of cute dresses on modcloth that I thought would work, but they were out of stock, of course! I guess I have the same taste as a lot of other people. haha. I was thinking the same thing though - I have a wedding this spring that I was kind of looking for a dress for.
this will be the first year in a long long time that i will actually be out and about!!!
I am going to the Griffins game w J and another couple them we are going to the melting pot!! yummy! after we are not sure yet!
