Happy Late Christmas Present to me!!! I have been talking to a friend of mine who knows someone that has 2 neutered male sugar gliders that she was looking for a better home for because she didn't have the time for them. I asked DH if we could adopt them and he said he would have to think about it. This was way back in like the beginning of December too so I have been DYING to adopt them and for him to decide. The whole time he kept on just saying maybe or would say things to make me think he would say yes and then turn around and act like he wasn't ready to adopt them. Well....he said yes!! and we get them tomorrow!!!! 
I can't wait!!!
Their mom just sent me some more pictures of them, their names are Sydney (Syd) and Melbourne (Mel) which I think is cute because now all 3 of them will have Australian type names! Sydney and Melbourne after the cities in Australia, and in Australia the name Kiah means "from the beautiful place". Sydney, Melbourne, and Kiah. EEK!!

I hope Kiah takes to them well!! From what I read it can go one of 2 ways, either they will really click with each other and get along fairly quickly (which I really hope happens) or they won't like each other at first and then we'll have to slowly over time get them used to each other until they become comfortable with one another and start to like each other which can take several months.
I have read of a few cases where they just hate each other and never get along but supposedly thats super rare and even if they don't get along at first they will get along eventually...I just really hope that doesn't happen! Its going to be tough to get them to bond to us and each other at the same time! It will be worth it in the end though!
