cell phone pic of the bedazzled swan...

my camera must be stuck in a box from christmas yet because I haven't found it but here's a picture from my cell phone. lovely huh?
Re: cell phone pic of the bedazzled swan...
Beautiful! Heh...I particularly like the swan.
In other news, did you make your table?
No table yet.... but I did make a dibble, 2 honey dippers and spurtle. A dibble is to plant bulbs in the garden with and a spurtle is apparently used to stir food with but I haven't tried it out yet. I have one class to go yet but its been cancelled twice due to snowstorms.
However, I AM making a bed for my sister right now. It looks pretty darn good for a first effort.
Nope - it is actually an ottoman sized serving tray that my dad and sister made for me. We registered for something very similar at Bed Bath and Beyond and my sister thought that they were asking too much for it and that she could totally do it herself. She's not very handy but my Dad totally is so they did it together. My parents had all the corks left over from my other sister's wedding (used them for the escort cards) so we didn't have to save up for them because there are a lot of them! They're under a sheet of plexi-glass so you don't have to worry about a bumpy surface.
Wow! It's even "better" than I imagined!
I do also love the cork tray... I may need to figure out how to make one myself!
MY BLOG!
well, that is certainly... special.
I LOVE your tray though, that is too cool!
That is amazing! I have to chime in with everyone else, my first thought was "wow, I love her cork table".
This was the inspiration for it - mine ended up being quite a bit larger which is totally fine by me. I have no idea what the wood is that they used - it is leftovers from the standing jewelry box my Dad is still working on for us for a wedding gift. I got a sneek peek at it last weekend though - it is beautiful. (and not in a bedazzled swan sort of way).

I think it goes on the dresser in the guest room. What a special conversation started...and much more useful than the fairy diorama. I want one!
