PG means pregnant, not PG rated like we all thought in previous posts, so feel free to stop reading if you aren't interested.
My mom and I went to Motherhood Maternity to shop for some new clothes a couple of days ago. In the dressing room, there was a pad that you can strap to your belly, which supposedly adds three months. I put it on, and realized just how big I am going to be in three months, and if it's doubled, I'm not sure I'll be able to walk come June!
Anyhow, I'm not sure if this happened overnight or what, but this morning I looked down and can see my belly poking out from my "birds eye view"...and it finally looks a little like a pregnant belly, and not just like I've put on a bunch of weight!!!
I'm super excited that I'm finally getting round and looking at least a little pregnant! And just wanted to share with everyone because I've been waiting for this to happen for a while now!!!
Re: PG: Just what I've been waiting for...
aww!! Congrats on your bump
My sister is 22 weeks and finally "popped" recently...its so friggen adorable
Thanks!!! Yeah, I feel like it's a little early, but it's definitely there! Is it your sister's first baby? They say you show later with your first, so I can't imagine what will happen with our second!
My husband was 10 lbs, both of his parents were 12 lbs, and two of his three siblings were in the high 9 range. I'm a little concerned about how big our child will be...and how huge I'm going to get!

Oh wow!!! My whole family were 6 pounders, so I'm hoping for the same when its my turn
I can't imagine having a 10 pounder!!!!! God bless your MIL!! lol
I loved finally showing. It was nice to not feel chubby anymore but pregnant. :-)
And not to completely freak you out but L was 12lbs 13oz. Crazy right? And none of the babies in either of our families were even close to that big. It was a total shocker to all of us including the doc. And I didn't have gestational diabetes she was just a huge kid..lol
So you never know... you could have a total peanut. :-)
Yay!! I loved when I started to show
I had small babies. My second child was only 5 lbs 11oz. He was an itty bitty. They thought my daughter was going to be a big baby and she was just under 7lbs.
I agree with Liz... God bless you MIL. I can't imagine having a baby that size.
That has to be so neat to finally see the little bump!! I would think it would make it feel even more real to see your body change like that.
I'm still amazed that the maternity store had a "bump" in the fitting room so that you can plan ahead. What a great idea.
Oh Megan! That is soo exciting!
Can you (and you too Laura and Jen) post bump pics?? A girl from college posts them on FB and I'm fascinated by the transformation.
Montana-Holy cow! That is huge! Is L high percentile for weight now? I was 8 lbs 15 oz and I thought that was huge!

Oh wow, i hope that you don't have a 10lb baby! or even worse 12 lbs.
I can only imagine the excitement when u start to show. I can't wait for the pregnancy belly (though that will have to be a few years)
Yes!! PICS PICS PCIS!!!
Bless your heart!!!! That is definitely crazy! I cannot imagine! I am sure she was totally worth it, but WOW!
I really do hope we have a little peanut! My next ultrasound is on the 10th (when we find out what it is!) so maybe they can tell me how quickly it's growing...although I may not be ready for that!

It is really exciting! The past couple of months have been kind of crappy because I couldn't fit into my pants anymore, but it just looked like I was packing on the pounds. So be ready for that! But now I can tell you that there is definitely light at the end of that tunnel
Megan & Chris
I will work on that...I'm really bad about keeping up with that kind of thing, but I know I'll want to see the transformation, too. I decided this morning to start taking my measurements each week (on the day I get my update email about new developments the baby is making), so maybe I will make the picture a part of that process...

She's averaged out now. She's super long (she was at birth too) but she's thinned out. I have this crazy long skinny babes. I miss all the chubby rolls and stuff. she was a total chunk. Thank goodness for c-sections. :-)
And Meagan def take pictures. Thats the one thing I didn't do and I totally regret it!
