Hi ladies!
So we have decided last minute to have a few friends over for NYE. We are on a pretty tight budget. Anyone have any good recipes or ideas for what I can dish up on a budget? There will only be about 8 of us.
I was thinking Chili or something. We aren't going to do a sit down dinner bc some people will be just stopping by and not staying. I figure if I have picky stuff out and maybe a help yourself pot on the stove that would work better.
Ideas???
TIA!
Re: Oh Cookies...
this pulled pork awesome and you could just do sliders served from the crock pot or make it tomorrow and just reheat on NYE (it really is even better the next day)

i'm also a big fan of baked ziti and kmm's Lasagna Toss Up since it is easy to double or triple and just warm up
I would do this chili

And have bowls of sour cream, limes, cheese, cilantro..out for people to top their own.
AND make this too:

It's soooo yummy (and really easy) and gives people the choice of beef or chicken.
Then you can have salsa, chips, guacamole out..easy peasy.
Thanks everyone!
Erin you are the winner! I am going with your 2 recipes! My DH told me he has been thinking about chili since I mentioned it so that was the vote that tipped the scale! LOL
