I was looking for an interesting recipe for broiling some tilapia we had, and this was perfect! I followed some of the user suggestions and added panko bread crumbs to the cheese mixture and some extra seasonings. It was really yummy and I think this topping could be used on plenty of other meats/sides as well.
Funny aside... I saw some of you mentioned Old Bay seasoning, which I had never heard of, and it was suggested for the tilapia so I wanted to use it. I didn't have any and didn't want to go to the store, so I looked up what was in it and made it myself. Cheap and easy!

Old Bay is a Maryland thing. We put it on everything.

You know, I really love allrecipes too. The basic recipes are good, but it seems like I always get the best suggestions from the user comments. Everything always turns out yummy.
