totaled my car. :(
Last night I went out to run some errands and I got t-boned by another car as I was going through a green light. Luckily it was on my passenger side so I wasn't hurt as badly. Apparently he tried to stop when he realized his was red, but couldn't stop in time, so hit me at about 30 mph. He was cited for DUI and no injuries.
I have a severe concussion, huge bruise with a cut above my left eye from when I hit my window, but other than that, just sore as heck. So i was VERY lucky. I am at work today, but we will see how that goes. Popping advil like it's candy at this point. DH argued pretty heavily that I should stay home today. But work is crazy this week with drivers coming in before the new year to get paid.
My insurance guy will be in town today weather permitting to assess the damage, but guessing by the age of the car and the amount of damage, I don't expect them to not say it's a total loss.
