In 2000-2010, what did you accomplish?

2000-Graduated high school, moved to another state to go to college, joined a sorority, met DH:)
2001-2002- did a lot of partying, studying, and hanging out with friends, college was bomb.
2003-started dating DH
2004-graduated from college, gained a BIL when my sis got married
2005-moved to Kansas City for my first "real" job with a mid-sized regional bank in their management rotation program, got my first apartment on the Plaza and lived all by myself, realized living by myself is expensive, got a part-time job, became an aunt to Miss Laura Elizabeth!
2006-moved out to the suburbs for cheaper rent, kept part-time job to continue supplementing income, DH finally moved to KC after a year of long-distance.
2007-DH got a job offer to move to Colorado, figuring he'd propose if I agreed to move, I moved and we moved in together. Finally got the corgi puppy I'd been wanting for 2 years, started making friends in CO, DH waited 6 months to propose and finally did in August '07 at the Broadmoor....
2008-lost 35 lbs, started running, and changed to a much healthier lifestyle, planned a wedding, got married, went to Cabo, started house-hunting, made offer on a house
2009-moved into house, did a lot of wallpaper removing, painting, and updating for the house, finally bought bedroom furniture after 4 years of sleeping on a frame and/or boxspring/mattress combo.
2010-continued work on house, went on trips to DC, NYC, Boston, my 10-year hs reunion, 3 weddings in Kansas, finally bought a flat-screen TV and worked on decorating the house with wall hangings and new bedding sets for 2 of our guest rooms.
*2011*-planned trips to Tampa for a wedding in March, the Bahamas in April, Seattle in July, and San Francisco in December. Pay off all cc debt with bonus in February. DH turns 30. Possibly start TTC in late fall!
Let's see...I turned 19 in the year 2000....
In the last decade I (in no particular order):
-lost and then gained back like 70lbs
-lost my virginity
-fell in love for the first time
-graduated from college and got my first grown up job
-went through a bad breakup
-met DH
-got engaged
-got married
-got in my first car accident (minor)
-bought my first brand new car (not because of the accident)
-bought a house
-got a 2nd grown up job
-got three promotions (one at first job, two at current job)
-changed my name
-started fixing my relationship with my mom
-met a lot of great new friends - and kept a few old ones
-traveled around the US a bit, to Europe, and the Caribbean.
-adopted a dog
-lost two grandparents
-went from worrying about getting pregnant accidently to hoping I'd get pregnant on purpose
-spent almost 3 years as a vegetarian, then went back to eating meat
-donated my hair to locks of love twice

2000- Turned 18, Went to Disney World for the first time with my Pom Squad - competed in Nationals, Competed in State competition, Graduated High School, Worked as a life guard over the summer, Dated a jerk who I lost my virginity to, realized he was a jerk and broke up with him, Started College (Design School and Community college for Gen Eds)
2001- College, Met a guy through a friend and went on 1 date with him before he went home to GA for the summer, continued talking to him all summer, worked 2 jobs that summer, flew to GA to meet said guys family and drive back up to Chicago with him when he came back for school, more college, dated that guy
2002- College, still dating guy from GA, had my heart broken when he decided not to come back after they year ended in may so we decided to have a LDR., summer school, studied abroad in London, went to Scotland and Amsterdam as well, met some wonderful new friends while there, more college, (4 semesters worth that year) visited boyfriend numerous times and he visited here, spent NYE in ATL
2003 - College, SR Thesis designing a 3 story building interior - a bar it was so cool., got an internship, graduated college, the day of graduation boyfriend broke up with me, then 2 days later decided that was the wrong move, got my first full time job - sort of in my field!, flew to GA to break up with boyfriend for good, he then called everyday for 6 months!
2004 - worked full time time, dated a lot, went to CO, moved out with a girlfriend - first time living on my own!, quit job to start working for my dad and the eBay store, dated some more!
had a friend from ATL that i met in London come visit in Chicago while another friend I met in London worked with me at the story shortly after that
2005- roommate decided to move home, got a new roommate who turned out to be crazy so I got out of that and moved home, eBay store closed and started working for my dad's other company, went to Disney with my family and my sisters Pom squad where they competed in Nationals, more dating, went to Milwaukee by myself for a long weekend
2006- random dating, still worked for dad, met a guy in March tried not to get serious but did, went to milwaukee for a Cubs game, random other things, spent Christmas with said guy
2007- went to FL with boyfriend, spent lots of time with him, still work full time for dad and live at home, went to CA with family for brothers graduation, Got engaged Dec 22nd, spent Christmas and NY with him,
2008- planned a wedding, "met" some of the best women I know, first joint purchase with DH (a car) got married, did a honeymoon road trip to Cooperstown, NY; Bar Harbor, ME; Portland, ME and Lake Placid, NY, started renovations on our house
2009- more house renovations, work for dad, went on our first cruise with my family, finished house renovations, found out I was going to be an aunt, went to Outer Banks, made a baby, won a pumpkin carving contest the day we found out we were expecting
2010- turned 28, work for dad, did nursery, became an aunt, became a mom, lost some friends but learned alot about myself because of it.
All in all I would say it was a pretty crazy decade! But so so so much fun. I really do love my life.
2001- lost 7 family members + family dog in 9 months + 9/11 (my grandfather passed on 9/10) & totalled my car on NYE... sooo that year stunk
2002- studied abroad, explored most of Spain, London, Paris & Morocco and volunteered at Camp Sunshine and discovered my passion for social work... and lost my virginity
2003- graduated with my BA, volunteered thru Americorps
2004- finished Americorps and started with my MSW program
2005- had been in a year long relationship & ended that at the beginning of the year... started 2005 desperate for new changes- picked up 2 additional jobs in addition to my fulltime grad school program/ 24 hr per week internship & work study job-- one of those jobs being the job I met DH at. May 13th was our first date. October, had an amazing girls trip to Wisconsin to visit my BFF. NYE had a party where BFF reunited with her now husband. DH told me he loved me.
2006- graduated w.my MSW, received an offer to work per diem 24 hrs/week at my internship & then my boss died weeks after that and I worked 40 hrs per diem until December when hired full time. Moved in with DH. Back to Wisconsin in Sept for BFFs wedding.
2007- received my LCSW, went to FL for our 2nd anniversary... then got engaged in August... started wedding planning! Went to CA to celebrate my grandparents 65th anniversary-- my grandparents met DH for the first time. Our amazing family dog was diagnosed with cancer & died when we were out in CA.
2008- Grandfather died in January... July, closed on our townhouse... Sept, got married & honeymooned...
2009- Honestly, just worked... realized who some true friends were. Adopted our crazy kitten Dewey.
2010- worked, found a passion in baking & took some cake decorating classes & sold some cakes!
2000 - Married V. Partied. Turned 20.
2001 - Had Suraya. G'pa died.
2002 - Got out of the military and moved to Asheville, NC. Partied. Also started college.
2003 - Left V and moved back to CA - depressed then partied a lot. V moved out to CA and in with me late that year.
2004 - Got a DUI - ha..yea I brought that up because that was a huge wake up call. Left V for good.
2005 - Got my AA & filed for divorce.
2006 - Divorce finalized. BIL passed away at the age of 23 right after Thanksgiving. Met Andrew in December that year.
2007 - Got engaged December that year. Partying slowed to almost a halt. Andrew is not a partier nor a drinker. We moved in together.
2008 - Got married. Started my BA.
2009 - Bought a house
2010 - Turned 30. Graduated with my BA.
I had a busy busy decade. Said hello to my 20s and goobye to them as well.

2000- freshman/sophomore yr of college. Dated 1st serious bf till 2002.
2001- turned 21. Still doing the college thing and working partime.
2002- summer abroad in Ecuador which was first major decision I made regardless of what my parents said. Said bf breaks my heart and breaks up with me. Boo hoo.
2003- graduate college with BS. Move to milwaukee from montana and in with my sister and her bf. Get a job at a group home. Meet Brian at work. He later becomes my boss. We hang out.
2004- Brian and I finally admit how we feel about eachother and secretly date since he is my boss. Go to Italy with my sister. Get accepted to grad school and moveto Chicago burbs for school. LDR with Brian.
2005- Brian gets accepted to grad schoolp in chicago and moves there right about the time I am moving out of there to go do my clinicals. Lots of studying.
2006- I study abroad during summer in Ecuador, again. Sister gets married. I graduate from PA school. Move in with sister while I job hunt. Get a job just before Christmas.
2007- move to sheboygan, north of milwaukee and start job. Still doing the LDR thing going to chicago every other weekend. Brian graduated in April and proposes. He moves in with me in May.
2008- buy our 1st house. Get married. Honeymoon.
2009- become an auntie! Adopt Ty.
2010- redo our kitchen.
Doesn't seem like alot. We're boring.

2000:I was in 8th grade so I was either going to dance,soccer practice or hanging out at a friends house
2001: My brother graduated high school. I was a freshman in hs and I had a blast this year. Had my first real boyfriend who broke my heart.
2002: I started dating DH. I also started working at a local pizza place. My nephew was also born.
2003: nothing too memorable just normal hs stuff.
2004: Made soccer captain and dance captain. Graduated hs and got my license (I waited till I was 18) started college in the fall
2005: Started working at my favorite job-a high end jewelry store. Bought my first car (99 vw bug).
2006: Got engaged
2007: Lost 3 grandparents in 6 weeks, graduated college, got first real interpreting job, moved into our first house, got our first cat
2008: got married
2009: chopped my hair off, passed part 1 of 2 of my big certification test, got our second cat
2010: Ran my first 5k, got my new car, pay off school loans!

2000: Turned 21 at Midnight (my bday is January 1) junior in college, had a really fun year
2001-Graduated from college, broke up with college boyfriend (we dated for 4 years), moved to my own apartment (it was a dump but it was mine) Enjoyed dating, and having fun.
2002-Got my first real grown up job and moved to Boston. Got my first "real" apartment it was nice, and all mine and I loved it. Learned a lot about myself that year living on my own, how to cook, how to manage my life (money) I put myself first. Dated a lot, and loved it. Met DH in the end of 2002
2003-Dated DH and enjoyed living in Boston and all that city life has to offer
2004-DH moved into my apartment first time living with a BOY
2005-DH and I decided that we are outgrowing city life, take a chance and he applies for a job in Maine and he moves in Dec, I stay in our apartment, and start applying for jobs in Maine.
2006-Quit my first real job after being there for 4 years, move to Maine and take a new job.Bought my first new car ever! We adopted our black lab Jack, got engaged 12/31/06
2007-Wedding Planning!! Moved for the 4th time as a couple to DH's grandmother's house lived 1.5 miles from the ocean and loved it! Realized that no job is worth being so miserable and began to take steps to leave.
2008-Left job in Maine, DH's company closed office in Maine, he got an insane offer to go to the Boston offer, and we decided to move back to Boston after 18 months of living in Maine, I was so sad. Took a job I would have loved when I was 22, and sold myself short, left that job and got my current job which I love!Got married in September, bought a house in November
2009- Became very involved in dog rescue, fostered our first foster Oscar an eight week old pittie who I loved so much. Fostered Coco the wonder pup who found his forever family in July, Adopted Charlie in August.
2010-Attended our 30th wedding as a couple (hate to think about all the $ we've spent over the year) Finally took our honeymoon went on a cruise, got back into working out and trying to have a healthy lifestyle.
2000- Spent part of the year in San Diego, was #1 in the country among Juniors in Archery, started plans to train for 2004 olympics. Shot in 4 major tournaments needed to quailfy for US Archery team. Came in as alternate at US jr world team trials.
2001- Got drivers license and first car. Spent more time in San Diego, travelled to Texas, Arizona, Michigan and New Jersey for archery tournaments to qualify for US archery team. Graduated HS, went to world beer fest in Montreal, moved to Massachusetts. Dated first serious BF after hs. Tore rotator cuff. Got my cat Zeus.
2002- Had tonsellectomy in Jan. BF and I broke up. Was in first ever car accident. Shot in Texas, New jersey, sacramento for last year competing in archery. Met Mike. Started new job at mortgage company. Moved in with mike and his cat Jaime. Went to Lake placid with mike. Family dog passed away. Left archery shop I worked at. Got new car.
2003- Went to school part time. Moved to Boston and new apt. Mike graduated school and got first "real" job. Housewarming party at new house. Left bank and started teaching preschool. went to camping in NH multiple times, and did first 5+ mile hikes. Got little grey cat abigail.
2004- Transferred to different school, got teacher certified, went to DC for vaca, celebrated hoilidays with SIL and new boyfriend. Trips home, started planning parents 25th anniversary. Turned 21. Met best friend. .
2005- Mom and dad's 25th anniversary party. Got brand new car. Met new nephew! WEnt to bruins game with dad. Started nannying. Lots of nights out partying and eating delicious food. Started looking into EA, went to a few meetings. had a few cysts removed in my lady region.
2006- First babysitting weekend with nephew. Had sinuses done, started new nannying job. Changed apts in same apt complex. LOL. more weekends in lake placid. Hiked 5 of the high peaks in NY. Went to tons of museums in Boston. Grandma passed away Christmas eve. Started back at school.
2007- HOLY CRAP. Took mom to Montreal for mothers day. Left the comfort of Boston to move to upstate NY. Took job teaching, but had taken insurance licensing class/test and passed. Started working part time for insurance agent.Went to finger lakes for firtst time ever. Started enjoying wine. WEnt to first SU basketball game. Started ice skating again. Completed two twin sizequolts from scratch.
2008- Started working full time for allstate.Injured Knee. Bought house. got engaged. went to Martha's Vineyard with girls in my wedding. Had wedding. Went camping in finger lakes. Got married. went to Florida for honeymoon. Got fluffy puppy Emma. Took quilting class. Lump removed from breast. Went to Mike's dad's grave site.
2009- Started riding lessons. WEnt to agility and obedience with Emma. Had my mom come visit. trips to VT, MA, and other places in NY. WEnt to new Yankees staduim for 2 yankees games. Had issues with mike. Filed seperation papers. Moved out, moved back in 60 days later. Worked things out and started counselling. Took long weekend in Maine. Went to Acadia, whale watch. FINALLLLLYYYYY got rotator cuff fixed.
2010- Got pregnant. Painted house. Old boss retired, new boss can't afford me. Switched Allstate offices. Made a garden in back yard. Grandparents 50th anniversary party. Baby shower. Had baby. Mom totalled car. Got new car. Trips to MA and VT to see family. Ben's first xmas. Oh Ben.
2000- Went to San Diego, bought my first car, lost my great grandmother, my aunt and gram got sick, went to NYC and a Caribbean cruise.
2001- Lost my gram, graduated from high school top of my class, went to college and started dating DH
2002- Got my second car, lost my aunt
2003- Got my first apartment, turned 21
2004- Moved in with DH, we got our first baby together Gizmo
2005- Lost my other grandmother, we got baby Juno, started my senior year of college in September and had a huge falling out with my BFF.
2006- Graduated from college, worked a lot of odd jobs to find a job, and we moved into a new bigger apartment and we got engaged!!!!!!!
2007- worked more odd jobs, got our final baby Cayden, wedding planning
2008- got my first big girl job, wedding planning, got married in September, honeymooned, reconciled with my BFF and lost my grandfather in November.
2009- this was a rough year for me, I spent a lot of my time working on my grandparents house
2010- my best friend's dad died, she had a baby, she had a huge health problem, was in my SIL and maid of honor's wedding, I lost 30 pounds, and for the most part stuck with an exercise plan, we sold a house, bought 2 new cars in cash, my brother got engaged and my dad got sick but is good now.

2012 Reading Challenge
2000 - was in my Sophmore year of college, fell in love for the first time that summer, started Jr. Year of college and lived off campus with 3 friends, dropped out of college after 1st semester of Jr. year.
2001 - Contintued to date first love, got first "real" job at a bank, took trip to NY to visit relatives of BF in Syracuse, visited the Cape with BF and his family, Aunt died of cancer - I found out by reading the obits in the paper
2002 - continuted to work at bank, sent first love off to Coast Guard Boot Camp and missed him like mad, got engaged, went to visit fiance in VA at A School, got married, moved to Rockland
2003 - Spent Feb & March living in a hotel in VA with then H while he was at school, got job at Samoset, moved to Rockport, lived in first real "Married" appartment.
2004 - Got promotion at Samoset, more trips to the Cape, then H spent 4 months in MD while the boat was in drydock, I went to visit, moved to Camden
2005 - Enjoyed living in a house, got 2 cats (skinny & princess), spent more time apart from then H while the boat was underway, began seeing a counselor by myself for marriage issues, spent NYE on the Cape.
2006 - Caught then H in a lie and figured out he had been cheating on me, left then H, moved out on my own into staff housing, found and moved into my first solo apartment, filed for divorce since then H wouldn't do it himself, got divorced, enjoyed being single, parited, drank, smoked pot for the first time, went to visit best friend in FL and saw my first Patriots game became more and more unhappy with my job.
2007 - contimplated moving to FL to live with friend and her BF to start over, met Rick, decided FL wasn't for me, started dating Rick, saw first Sox game (Vs. Yanks none the less) for my birthday, quit job at hotel and started current job, took Rick to a Sox game (Vs. Yanks) for his birthday, helped Rick throw 25th Anniversary party for his parents, threw my parents a 30th Anniversary party, got engaged, Moved in with Rick's parents because my apartment was in a bad neighborhood (we lived in thier basement)
2008 - Planned a wedding, had MAJOR female part issues, got diagnosed with PCOS, started looking for a house, decided that having a baby was a good idea and began taking fertility drugs 6 months before we were goign to be married, got MANY BFN and cried myself to sleep most nights, got married, got BFP 3 days after the wedding, Honeymoon (1 night due to massive sickness) in NH, found dream home, found out we were having a boy.
2009 - closed on house, moved into house, baby shower #1 in bath, baby shower #2 in Rockland, Josh was born, life as I knew it chagned forever, maternity leave, gal bladder surgery, best friend got married, back to work.
2010 - Josh turned 1, got to see a Sox game from the Green Monster with DH, FIL, & BIL, paid off my car, spent some time with great friends, worked far too much, spent the last 2 weeks of the year with Josh at home while on vacation.
While not to much exciting its been a good 10 years I have learned TONS about myself and realize things happen for a reason!

2003 - Graduated with my BSN from Nursing School
2005 - moved into my own apartment
2006 - met my now DH!
2007 - moved in with DH, got engaged, and got our dog Baxter
2008 - got married!!! and got our cat Callie
2009 - went back to Aruba for our 1 year anniversary trip
2010 - got pregnant!

2002- moved in with DH,met BFF in person. Sister gets married
2003-turn 29.
2004-Neice born. Turn 30.
2005-move in with sister after DH and I quasi break-up.
2006-Switch positions at work,QUIT Smoking(yay!!).
2007-May 4th- get engaged. July end up in ER with gallbladder. August have gallbladder removed. September move back in with DH.Buy very 1st new(not just new to me)car.
2008-plan wedding,get married.
2009- March- go off BC. August- POAS BFP!! November-Find out baby is a girl.
2010-Feb-diagnosed with GD. April- give birth to 9lb 8oz baby girl via c-section.April-now,watch baby girl grow up,watch grandparents health decline
2011 and beyond I hope to get to enjoy all sorts of 1sts with Maddy and just enjoy the joy that she is.

2010-vacationed in Hawaii, started finishing our basement
2000- I lived in NC, worked as an AR Admin, and attended community classes PT to start going for my BS.
2001- I moved to CT in October (a month after 9/11) to transfer to CCSU and be closer to my bf at the time.
2002-03- I started attending CCSU to finish my BS in Accounting PT, worked FT in CT in a real estate company, and entered into my party years and went to Vegas with my bro.
2004- I bought my first ever brand new car, graduated with my BS in Accounting, and got a new job at a health insurance company.
2005- I left my old job in health insurance and worked in property mgmt as an AP clerk again and finally got rid if my jerkface ex.
2006- In January, I started a new job where I am now and traveled to Aruba with my brother. In March, I met Alexi. I bought my first condo in the spring and started grad school. In August, we got Tomas.
2007- Got engaged in April, got a promotion at work, went on a cruise in the Western Caribbean with Alexi, and studied abroad in Bangkok and Singapore with grad school.
2008- Sold my condo and moved in with my future BIL & SIL. Signed contract and started to build our 1st home, got married, honeymoon cruise in the Mediteranean, and moved into our newly built home. Lost my kitty- Molly.
2009- Got pregnant, got Lily, lost my kitty- Sebastian. Went on a cruise to the Southern Caribbean for our 1st anniversary. Graduated from grad school in May. Lost my paternal grandmother June.
2010- Mariela was born and I turned 30 in March!
