...since raynes won't be around until the 3rd!
So I did a terrible job planning a get together tonight. We are having friends from school over for dinner...but I have absolutely no idea how many people are coming. I invited about a dozen people (6 couples and possibly three toddlers...) and have confirmation from two couples (and one toddler), but have no idea about the rest. I'm not too worried about it though. I am baking a ham (somehow we ended up with an extra ham at Christmas time) and providing stuff for sandwiches, making a salad, and maybe making some kind of appetizer. I'm also thinking about making the mulled wine from August Cooks that I still haven't had the opportunity to make.
Anyway, today will be cleaning and getting ready for people to come over. I also need to get a run in (7 miles left to reach 1000 for the year). I have had two crappy runs in a row, so I am hoping today is better!
What does everyone else have planned for the day?
Re: Good Morning!
Today I'm meeting with the lit coach to organize the march for babies team. I also have to clean up a lot of dog poop. Yay me! I am excited to cook dinner, and also buy myself some new shoes.
I may also buy something to wear to work as I'm not sure if all of my old stuff fits yet.
Hello Ladies,
I have been a little MIA, but that is because I have been on vacation from work and trying to keep up with the boys.
Anyhow, I think I am getting a good cold. It all started lastnight and today, achy ears, runny nose and my throat hurts. Yay me, considering I have been looking forward to NYE for a while now. We have an overnight sitter, however if I still feel like poo DH might me going alone, and I will be sick at home with the boys. UGH
Just wanted to pop on and say hi. Hope all is doing well and had a great Christmas.
Do nothing daaaaay!!!!
Well, actually that means I'll be doing some much-needed cleaning. And also, I still want to join the Virtual Choir project so today I'll be recording my part.

I'm at work. I'm waiting for $hit to hit the fan this morning. I'm over tired from traveling and life in general. I can not wait to sleep in tomorrow.
I've decided it's time to work on my resume again.
I'm late, but we had MIL over for breakfast. Then we went to Wal-mart and got supplies for our very first furbaby. Then we went to Bed, Bath and Beyond for a waffle iron that Mom gift-carded me for Christmas.
Next was lunch and a debacle making sure that I had a g**d**n referral for this stupid surgery on Monday before they closed for the holidays. I love having insurance, but the HMO is a total PITA.
Then we went to the animal shelter to look at kitties, because I told Jim we could get a cat once we came back from Georgia. We visited with two different cats, but didn't decide because neither one was feeling very social. I'm going to go back tomorrow (assuming they are open) and see if I can settle on one.

Reba - you're getting a kitty?!?! That's awesome.
My day at work was super busy and consisted of cleaning up the mess one of my co-workers had made the day before. Now I'm off for 3 days, yay!
