As you may remember, our neighbour has a small dog whom we have affectionately named "Yappy".
We often take Sherlock out into the hallway to stretch his legs. We knew that he might encounter Yappy so we put him on a harness. We didn't know how he'd react. He did have a close call once and V held him back. But we got to know Yappy's walking schedule so we stopped the harness once we figured out when to avoid our neighbour.
Well today V took him out and ran into Yappy. At that moment, Yappy stood between Sherlock and home. Sherlock got this look of bloody murder and V had an OMG my cat is going to kill that dog moment. (Yappy, meanwhile, was more like Simple Dog... "Yay it's walk time!")
Sherlock stalked over, assessed the situation.... and bolted home.
Ha. He ran away.
