One of my cousins got Charlie a crib soother for Christmas - it's the Ocean Wonders Sparking Soother and to be honest, it looks quite awesome. HOWEVER, the instructions say that it should be placed 7 inches above the mattress. She won't be able to reach that, and I really want something for her that she can press and play with while she's lying there. I googled and on like the third page someone posted that the seven inches was due to Fisher Price not wanting anyone's head to get stuck. If it's uber-low, like one inch off the mattress, which is where it would be, do you think that's OK? Thoughts? ![]()
Re: Question on crib soother
Huh. Maybe I should have read the instructions...I have that and it has been in Will's crib since before he was born. It is about an inch off the mattress and we have not had any issues. We have the same in Fred crib and has had it since he was born and no issues there either. Just like Jana said...as he has grown the space has become larger.
From over 3 yrs exp...we haven't had any issues.
Thanks guys - I know I'm mental.
