Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Tablet or Laptop?
I currently only have a desktop. I'm interested in something portable I can carry with me while sitting by the TV or around town; primarily just internet use. We have a Wi-Fi connection and live in a large city with hot spots.
Which do you recommend I look at? I'm concerned the tablets are difficult to type on.

We had a desktop, laptop and as of 2wks now an ipad.
If you're just browsing the internet, I think that an ipad/tablet is fine...however, if you'll be doing tons of typing, I'd probably get a laptop.
