yup royal caribbean by far! the explorer is a great ship (not only b/c i got married on it:P) but pretty much any RC ship that is newer. unfortunately the RC ship that leaves from b-more is older and not as up to date. some of the newer NCL ships are pretty great too.
carnival is too college spring break for me and the food sucks. celebrity the food is amazing but not a lot of fun stuff. royal caribbean the food is awesome and there is so much stuff to do!
i don't mean to offend anyone, just my personal opinion from cruising a lot.

12/10 - Unmedicated cycle due to RE not doing treatments in December = BFN

2/11 - Same sh!t, different month = IUI cancelled due to no response = BFN

DH and I loved Princess for our HM cruise. DH was sold on cruising after that. They don't do many shorter cruises, so I would probably go with RC for something that's only 3-5 nights.
I've done on RC cruise and as Jess said it was out of B-more and the ship was old and the entire experience wasn't the greatest unfortunately. I do have a coworker who loves RC and is like an emerald on them so I think it was just our particular cruise.
For the IL cruise of doom next April we're going on Carnival b/c SIL booked it and being very coughwhitetrashcough I'm not surprised she's a carnival girl. I'm expecting it to be pretty spring breakish and GASP we're going during the kid's spring break, lol.
DH and I are planning on going back on princess in 2012 for Alaska, we're just waiting on the itineraries to come out.
