It was so easy and it sounded absolutely disgusting. I got it from Southern Hills Baptist church's cookbook that the ladies put together. (One of my neighbors gave it to me as a Christmas gift--I love it!) My husband is not a huge fan of sauerkraut, but he loved this dish--it did not taste strong at all.
Reuben chicken
3-4 chicken breasts
1 8oz. bottle of Russian dressing
1 16oz. jar sauerkraut
6-8 slices Swiss cheese
Put chicken breasts in a baking dish sprayed with Pam. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Put a layer of swiss cheese over each chicken breast. Top with drained sauerkraut. Layer another piece of swiss cheese, and top with more sauerkraut. Pour bottle of Russian dressing all over the top of the chicken. Bake at 400 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until chicken is done. My mom ate dinner with us and said it was the best chicken she'd had in a long time!
