Is there a way to boost your laptops wireless range?
I work at a hospital which has wireless internet and our offices are in what would technically be the basement. So the signal is low- I was wondering if there's some way to boost my laptops signal range? I bring my personal laptop to work to work on it so I can take things home but the signal will drop and in out. Thanks for any advice!

actually, this party true. the laptop does broadcast but it is not an access point. The problem is not so much signal strength but more likely what the signal have to pass through (ie reinforced concrete walls filled it wire.
