I imagine a lot of us have off for the day but don't know who's checking in here. Hope everyone that does work today at least gets off early! Have a safe and fun new year's eve! Since I'm sure 2010 was one of our best years, let's toast to 2011 being even better!

Happy New Years Eve! I am sitting here at work staring at a screen that never updates. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw your post.
Getting out in an hour though, so thats a plus.
2010 sure was incredible, I am sure that 2011 will bring some great things for all of us!

Me too - and I'm here for a full day. Out of here at 4:00. I just came back from lunch and got my cocktail of choice; Peach faygo and a pint of vodka (since I'm driving). If I decide I need a drink in hand after that's gone I'll grab one of Mike's beers and sip one can for an hour and a half.

We have a busy day. We are doing a harbor dinner-dance cruise in San Diego to ring in the New Year, but we can't stay out too late because one of my good friends is getting married on 1/1/11!

A10 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination: San Francisco!
I am at home, working on cleaning out our bedroom closet - it reached a point where we couldn't even get to anything in the back of it! Fortunately I just found a sweater that's been missing for a year... haha. My company is closed from December 24th until January 4th, and between that and the blizzard I've spent an inordinate amount of time in my pajamas the past week.
It looks like our plans for tonight have fallen through. We were supposed to get together with 2 couples we're very close with, but coincidentally the male members of both couples were hospitalized in the past week; one is still in the hospital but it looks like he will be okay. We have a few friends who are "orphans" without plans so we're telling people to stop by if they want.

ME TOO!!! hahaha I love it! I have been soo lazy, but I did catch up on lots of cleaning and organizing around the house, so I was productive too. It was just nice to not have to go or rush anywhere this whole week.
Happy New Year's Eve everyone! I'm sad to see 2010 go, it was a great year, but I know 2011 has lots of good things in store for us! XOXO

Happy New Years Eve girls! Like Sheril said, we had tornado sirens going off here earlier. It seem as though all the bad weather is past us now thankfully. We are just waiting for the temps to drop. When I took H to work this morning it was already in the mid 50s.
I already made my dip for tonight and cut sausage and veggies. Now just waiting for friends to come over later. I will probably try to catch a nap this afternoon too.
Hey ladies! Sorry so many of you have to work today, that sucks. And please please please be careful those of you in the tornado zones today. That must be so scary. I have seen some news updates and it looks really bad out there.
DH had to run into work today for a few hours, so I am holding down the fort until he gets back. I bought some garlic bread to go with our pasta tonight and some champagne in case the stuff we already have is too dry for us. We like our champagne sweet!
I'm really looking forward to next year and all the good things to come. And I can't wait to see the first April Nestie babies arrive! I hope everyone has a safe night and I'll talk to you all in the New Year! Love you gals!
