Kindle Users

Kindle announced yesterday that the lending feature is now available.

I'm not entirely sure how we could go about this but would anyone be interested in creating a list of the lendable books each of us have? Then we could lend them amongst each other? Let me know your thoughts.

  • I would too....we can probably set up a separate wiki to list books, or we could do a weekly update post with books?

  • I'm in - sounds fun.

I'm pretty sure that you can only lend each book 1x tho.

  • or maybe we can set up a facebook group....is everyone that wants in on facebook....at least it wouldn't be another board to check. i can set it up if you are friends with me on fb inbox me and i will put u on.

  • Great ideas Corisa! For me, I think it would be easiest to do a weekly update post with books. I'll go along with whatever everyone decides to do though.

  • I just got one for xmas.  I only have one book on it so far, but I would be interested.
  • I just registered the kindle I got for xmas last year (2009!)  Little behind lol, but I would love to share if someone tells me how!
  • It is awesome that so many people are interested in doing this.

How about every Wednesday (I thought Lending Wednesday had a nice ring to it) I'll make a post in which everyone can list any books that they can and are willing to lend. As someone said, you can only lend each book one time so it will have to be on a first come first served basis.

Also, to find out if you have any books that are lendable, I believe you can go to the Manage Your Kindle section on Amazon and it will say under each book if it is lendable or not.
