Re: 2010 reflection
Oh man. This year was full of ups and downs. My aunt died on New Year's day, FI lost his job, we had to move to an apartment we don't particularly like, we were flat broke but still working on paying for the wedding, his grandpa died three days before the wedding. But we got married! and adopted a puppy! and his unemployment only lasted a few months.
I think despite the crappy stuff, 2010 is a year I'll look back on fondly. Getting to marry my awesome husband overshadows the bad stuff. Plus I spent a lot of time doing fun things with my great friends. I hope 2011 has more goodness in it.

2010 has definately had it's challenges for us. My dad fell from a bridge (he is an engineer) and suffered a tramatic brain injury. We were still dealing with that when DH lost his job and we were forced to move back to my hometown to live with my parents. At least that helped us save money for the wedding. The summer got worse when my brother committed suicide 2 weeks before our wedding and DH's aunt passed away just after our wedding. Today provided one last major challenge as tornadoes ripped through our town making 22 homes uninhabitable and 2 are complete losses. We are fortunate to not have any major injuries, I am praying that all of my students and their families are okay!
We have however had some big highlights this year too! I finished student teaching and was hired as a teacher (no small feat in today's economy!). I love my job, DH has made a career change and loves his new job. My dad is doing much better. My brother's death has brought my entire family closer, even a few relatives that had been estranged for more then 10 years. Our wedding was beautiful and there was nothing we would of changed!
I hope that 2011 brings us a new home, a pregnancy and increased job security (funding is sketchy at my school district for next year).
2010 was a crazy year for us too!
Planned a wedding, Lost my job, lived in a hotel over the summer so DH could do an internship for a company out of state, was in the hospital for 9 days due to blood clots and got out only 4 days before our wedding, had an AMAZING wedding day, went to Mexico (and got the infamous Mexico tummy aches), had to survive DH's last semester in school, worked retail (BLAH!!), watched DH graduate - *** laude no less, and moved to MI so DH could start a job. We got to see friends get engaged, get married, and have babies. We lost touch with some friends but got super close to some very special people.
I am soooo anxious to see what 2011 brings for us. Hopefully being able to finally start living, now that DH is done with school. We also hope to become parents in our near future too :-)
This year went by so fast.... our wedding day was absolutely the biggest highlight of this year. It was an amazing year really. I got a new set of accounts at work, and was able to hit all quota. DH and I moved to his hometown and we love it. We got a cat (December 29 last year really, but I am counting it in). We remained happy and healthy the whole year. My sister graduated from her school and moved here.
The only sad things were my aunt dying of a breast cancer and my BM miscarrying her first pregnancy. At least my aunt is in a better place now and is not suffering anymore. And my BM is still trying to get pregnant so let's hope that 2011 will be the baby year for them

2010 was a pretty good year for us! So many life changes!!
I graduated from college - finished planning the wedding - the wedding was of course AMAZING! Got my 1st big-kid job, I finished all 4 of my CPA tests now I just need my 1 year of experience, and finally we took our honeymoon cruise in December which was amazing!!
Okay, a little late to this post, but better late than never!
What a big year for me! I graduated college, got a teaching job (I am fully aware of how blessed I am to have it in this current economy), and, of course, got married to the love of my life! Oh, and we bought a house, too. Oh, and got our first puppy together. There were just so many HUGE life changes that happened in 2010, and most of them happened in a span of 4 months!
Overall, it was an amazing year, and I am looking forward to what 2011 has in store for us!
The holidays have kept me busy, so I'm just getting back on the knot today! ?
2010 was the year of the wedding for us. ?The first half was spent planning our own. ?I am so happy to be married to my love, and I know I'll remember this year for the rest of my life. ?The second half was spent helping my brother with his, which took place on Jan. 1st, 2011 (though the rehearsal dinner was Dec. 31st, so still counts
2011 started with a bang (the fabulous wedding), but then got sad as my grandmother passed away this week. ?While we all miss her so much, she had a stroke last April and has been really gone since then. ?She always said she would hate to live this way, so it was a relief that she finally doesn't have to anymore.
Hopefully the rest of the year goes well. ?H is working on school, and we hope to get pregnant. ?I'm excited to see what happens next!?
